Hadith 95

The second report mentioning the Salat(s) of the week, at night and the day which we are reporting, we found it having been reported from the immaculate, the pure, may the Salawaat of Allah-azwj be upon him-saww and upon them-asws, a permanent Salawaat, continuous. A Salat on the night of Saturday – and it is of two Cycles, reciting in each Cycle of these Surah(s) Al Hamd, and Al A’ala, and Ayat Al Kursy, and Al Qadr, once, once’’. [12]
Another Salat on the night of Saturday – it is reported from the Prophet-saww having said: ‘One who prays two Cycles Salat on the night of Saturday, reciting in the first of these Surah(s) Al Fatiha once, and Al Qadr three times, and in the second Cycle Al Fatiha once, and Zilzaal three times. When he is free from his Salat, he should seek Forgiveness of Allah-azwj once, and Send Salawaat upon the Prophet-saww and his-saww Progeny-asws one hundred times. He will not stand from his place until Allah-azwj would have Forgiven for him’’. [13]
Another Salat on the night of Saturday – it is reported from Rasool-Allah-saww having said: ‘One who prays eight Cycles Salat on the night of Saturday, reciting in each Cycle Surah(s) Al Fatiha, and Al Kawser, once, once, and Al Tawheed seven times. When he is free from his Salat, he should seek Forgiveness of Allah-azwj seventy times, he would be like the one who has performed Hajj, and it is as if he has bought a thousand men from the Polytheist and liberated them, and his sins would be Forgiven for him and even if these were to be like foam of the sea and grains of sand in a desert, and number of drops of rain, and leaves of the tree, and he will cross across the bridge like the bolt of lightning and enter the Paradise without Reckoning’’. Another Salat on the night of Saturday – it is reported from him-asws having said: ‘One who prays four Cycles on the night of Saturday, reciting in each Cycle Surah(s) Al Hamd once, and Al Tawheed seven times, Allah-azwj will Write for him Rewards for each Cycle, seven hundred good deeds, and Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic will Give him cities in the Paradise’’. [15]
Another Salat on the night of Saturday – it is reported from him-saww having said: ‘One who prays two Cycles Salat on the night of Saturday, reciting in each Cycle Surah(s) Al Hamd once, and Al Tawheed and glorify twenty-five times, and end the ending with four phrases – the phrase, ‘Glory be to Allah-azwj’, and the phrase ‘The Praise is for Allah-azwj’, and the phrase, ‘There is no god except Allah-azwj’, and the phrase, ‘Allah-azwj is Greatest’, Allah-azwj will Forgive his sins for him, and he will emerge from it like the day his mother had given him birth’’. Another Salat on the night of Saturday, and it is of two Cycles, reciting in each of these Surah(s) Al Hamd, and Al A’la, and Ayat Al Kursy, and Al Qadr, once, once’.
