Hadith 76

: ‘Whenever one of you supplicates and does not mention the Prophet-saww, the supplication hovers above his head. When he mentions the Prophet-saww, the supplication is raised’’. [125]
And by the chain to Al Saffar, from Ibn Abu Al Khattab, from Muhammad Bin Bashir Al Dahhan, from Abdul Malik Bin Utbah, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws: ‘Whenever one of you supplicates, let him begin with the Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and say, ‘Do such and such with me! ’, for when the servant says, ‘O Allah-azwj says, ‘O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and upon People-asws of his‑saww Household’, it will be Answered for him. When he says, ‘Do such and such with me’, He-azwj is more Generous than to Reject part of it and Answer part of it’’. [126]
And by the chain from Ibn Abu Al Khattab, from Abu Dawood Al Mustariq, from Muhammad Bin Marwan, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘Allah-azwj has Allocated an Angel called Zihleel with the grave of the Prophet-saww. Whenever one of you sends Salawaat upon him-saww and greets unto him-saww, he said to him-saww, ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! So and so has greeted unto you-asws and has sent Salawaat upon you-saww! ’
He-asws said: ‘The Prophet-saww responds: ‘May Allah-azwj Send Salawaat upon him, with the greetings! ’’[127]
And from what we are reporting from Muhammad Bin Ali Bin Mahboub, from his book in the handwriting of my grandfather Abu Ja’far Al Tusi, from Ali Bin Ismail Al Myesami, from Al Aamiry, from Muhammad Al Ja’fary, from Ammar Bin Yaasir who said, ‘I heard Rasool-Allah-saww saying: ‘Allah-azwj has Given an Angel from the Angels, names of the people, all of them, and names of their fathers. When I-saww die, he will stand upon my-saww grave up to the Day of Qiyamah, so there will not be anyone sending Salawaat upon me except he would say, ‘O Muhammad-saww! So and so, son of so and so has sent Salawaat upon you‑saww with such and such! ’
And my-saww Lord-azwj has Guaranteed for me-saww to Send Salawaat upon that servant, ten times for every one’’. [128]
(The book) ‘Gawaly Al La’aly’ –
‘It is reported that he-saww, it was said to him-saww, ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! What is your-saww view of Words of Allah-azwj the Exalted: Surely, Allah and His Angels are Sending Salawaat upon the Prophet. [33: 56]. How is it? ’
He-saww said: ‘This is from the hidden knowledge, and had you not asked me-saww, I-saww would have not informed you at all! Allah-azwj the Exalted has Allocated two Angels with me-saww, so I-saww will not be mentioned in the presence of a Muslim, so he would send Salawaat upon me‑saww, except those two Angels will say to him: ‘May Allah-azwj Forgive (sins) for you! ’, and Allah-azwj and His-azwj Angels, say: ‘Ameen! ’
And I-saww will not be mentioned in the presence of a Muslim so he does not send Salawaat upon me-saww, except the two Angels say to him: ‘May Allah-azwj not Forgive (sins) for you! ’, and Allah-azwj and His-azwj Angels say: ‘Ameen! ’’[129]
