﷽

ed (Quran) and slept. When it was during the third time, the man came and said: ‘O so and so! He is coming to you, calling you, and he will knock the door, so go with him! ’ I heard the knock on the door. I stood up behind the door and said, ‘Who is this? ’ He said, ‘Open, and do not fear! ’ I recognised his speech and opened the door, and there was a servant having a shawl with him. One of the neighbours is needy to you for an important need, and he wrapped my head with the shawl and entered me into the house, and I recognised it. There was a tight curtain in the middle of the room, and there was a man seated by the side of the curtain. The servant raised his eyes, so I entered, and there was a woman whom the birth pangs had seized, and there was a woman seated behind her, as if she was her midwife. The woman said, ‘You will assist us regarding what we are in’. I treated her with what one would treat similar to her. It was not except a little while until a boy fell. I took him upon my shoulder, and I shouted, ‘A boy! A boy! ’ And I brought out my head from a side of the curtain to give good news to the seated man. It was said to me, ‘Do no shout! ’
When I returned my face to the boy, I missed him from my shoulder. The seated woman said to me: ‘Do not shout! ’ And the servant grabbed my hand and wrapped my head with the shawl and took me out from the house and returned me to my house, and gave me a pouch and said to me, ‘Do not inform anyone with what you have seen’. I entered the house and returned to my bed in this room, and my daughter was sleeping still. I awakened her and asked her, ‘Did you know of my going out and my return? ’ She said, ‘No’. And I opened the pouch during that time and there were ten Dinars in it, counted, and I did not inform any one with this except at this time when your spoke with this talk upon a limit of sarcasm. So, I narrated to you pitying upon you, for there is a glory for these people in the Presence of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic, and a status, and all what they have claimed is true’. He (the narrator) said, ‘I was surprised from her words, and I turned it to ridicule and sarcasm, and I did not ask her about the time, apart from that I know for sure I was absent from them during the year two hundred and fifty something, and I returned to Surmanray during the time the old woman informed me with this news during the year two hundred and eighty-one, in the ministership of Ubeydullah Bin Suleyman when I aimed to it’. Hanzala said, ‘I called Abu Al-Faraj Al Muzaffar Bin Ahmad until he heard this news along with me’’. [30]
