َا. وَ عَنِ الصَّادِقِ ع أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ تَاجِرٍ مَا فَعَلَ فَقِيلَ صَالِحٌ وَ لَكِنَّهُ قَدْ تَرَكَ التِّجَارَةَ
فَقَالَ ع عَمَلُ الشَّيْطَانِ ثَلَاثاً أَ مَا عَلِمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص اشْتَرَى عِيراً أَتَتْ مِنَ الشَّامِ فَاسْتَفْضَلَ مِنْهَا مَا قَضَى دَيْنَهُ وَ قَسَمَ فِي قَرَابَتِهِ
يَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ رِجالٌ لا تُلْهِيهِمْ الْآيَةَ يَقُولُ الْقَصَّاصُ إِنَّ الْقَوْمَ لَمْ يَكُونُوا يَتَّجِرُونَ كَذَبُوا وَ لَكِنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَكُونُوا يَدَعُونَ الصَّلَاةَ فِي مِيقَاتِهَا وَ هُوَ أَفْضَلُ مِمَّنْ حَضَرَ الصَّلَاةَ وَ لَمْ يَتَّجِرْ. الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلى صَلاتِهِمْ دائِمُونَ وَ قَالَ الطَّبْرِسِيُّ ره رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع أَنَّ هَذَا فِي النَّوَافِلِ وَ قَوْلَهُ وَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلى صَلاتِهِمْ يُحافِظُونَ فِي الْفَرَائِضِ وَ الْوَاجِبَاتِ. وَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلى صَلاتِهِمْ يُحافِظُونَ قَالَ الطَّبْرِسِيُّ ره رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ع أَنَّهُ قَالَ: أُولَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْخَمْسِينَ صَلَاةً مِنْ شِيعَتِنَا. وَ رَوَى زُرَارَةُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع أَنَّهُ قَالَ: هَذِهِ الْفَرِيضَةُ مَنْ صَلَّاهَا عَارِفاً بِحَقِّهَا- لَا يُؤْثِرُ عَلَيْهَا غَيْرَهَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهَا بَرَاءَةً لَا يُعَذِّبُهُ وَ مَنْ صَلَّاهَا لِغَيْرِ وَقْتِهَا مُؤْثِراً عَلَيْهَا غَيْرَهَا فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ إِلَيْهِ إِنْ شَاءَ غَفَرَ لَهُ وَ إِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُ. الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلاتِهِمْ ساهُونَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع تَأْخِيرُ الصَّلَاةِ عَنْ أَوَّلِ وَقْتِهَا لِغَيْرِ عُذْرٍ. وَ رَوَى الْعَيَّاشِيُّ بِالْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلاتِهِمْ ساهُونَ أَ هِيَ وَسْوَسَةُ الشَّيْطَانِ قَالَ لَا كُلُّ أَحَدٍ يُصِيبُهُ هَذَا وَ لَكِنْ أَنْ يَغْفُلَهَا وَ يَدَعَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فِي أَوَّلِ وَقْتِهَا. وَ عَنْ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ زَيْدٍ الشَّحَّامِ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلاتِهِمْ ساهُونَ قَالَ هُوَ التَّرْكُ لَهَا وَ التَّوَانِي عَنْهَا. وَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ع قَالَ: هُوَ التَّضْيِيعُ لَهَا.
And in ‘Al-Kafi’, raising it, he-asws said: ‘They are the traders, those neither trading nor selling distracts them from Zikr of Allah-azwj. When timings of the Salats enter, they fulfil to Allah-azwj His-azwj Right regarding it’’. And from Al-Sadiq-asws, he-asws had asked about a trader: ‘What happened? ’ It was said, ‘He is righteous, but he has left the trading’. He-asws said: ‘The deed of Satan-la’ – thrice – ‘Does he not know that Rasool-Allah-saww had purchased a caravan load which had come from Syria, so he-saww used the surplus (profit) from it what paid off his-saww debts and distributed among his-saww relatives? Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic Says: Men whom neither trading nor selling diverts them [24: 37] – the Verse. The story-tellers are saying that the people cannot be traders. They are lying. But, they cannot be leaving the Salat during its timings, and he is better than the ones the Salat presents, and they don’t trade’’. Those who are constant upon their Salat [70: 23] – And Al-Tabarsy said, ‘It is reported from Abu Ja’far-asws: ‘This is regarding the optional Salats, and His-azwj Words: And those who are preserving upon their Salats [70: 34], is regarding the Impositions and the obligatory Salats’’. And those who are preserving upon their Salats [70: 34] – Al-Tabarsy said, ‘It is reported by Muhammad Bin Al-Fuzeyl, from Abu Al-Hassan-asws having said: ‘They are from our-asws Shias who are performing fifty Salats’’. And it is reported by Zurara, from Abu Ja’far-asws having said: ‘These are the Impositions. One who prays these Salat, knowing their rights, not preferring upon these anything other, Allah‑azwj will Write a freedom pass for him due to it that He-azwj will not Punish him; and the one who prays these at other than their timings, preferring something else over these, that would be up to Him-azwj. If He-azwj so Desires, He-azwj will Forgive him, and if He-azwj so Desires, He-azwj Punishes him’’. Those who are neglectful of their Salats [107: 5] – Abu Abdullah-asws said: ‘Delaying the Salat from beginning of its timing without an excuse’’. And it is reported by Al-Ayyashi – by the chain from Yunus Bin Ammar, from Abu Abdullah-asws, he (the narrator) said, ‘I asked him-asws about His-azwj Words: Those who are neglectful of their Salats [107: 5], ‘Is it the insinuation of Satan-la? ’ He-asws said: ‘No, every one is hit by this (insinuation). But, (it is) his being heedless of it and leave praying Salat during beginning of its timing’’. And from Abu Usama Zayd Al-Shahham who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah-asws about Words of Allah-azwj the Exalted: Those who are neglectful of their Salats [107: 5]. He-asws said: ‘It is the leaving of it and the refraining from it’’. And from Muhammad Bin Al-Fuzeyl, from Abu Al-Hassan-asws having said: ‘It is the wasting of it’’.
