ِ عِيسَى وَ زَبُورِ دَاوُدَ وَ قُرْآنِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ وَ عَلَى جَمِيعِ أَنْبِيَائِكَ وَ بِكُلِّ وَحْيٍ أَوْحَيْتَهُ وَ قَضَاءٍ قَضَيْتَهُ وَ كِتَابٍ أَنْزَلْتَهُ
يَا إِلَهَ الْحَقِّ الْمُبِينِ وَ النُّورِ الْمُنِيرِ أَنْ تُتِمَّ النِّعْمَةَ عَلَيَّ وَ تُحْسِنَ لِيَ الْعَاقِبَةَ فِي الْأُمُورِ كُلِّهَا فَإِنَّمَا أَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ أَتَقَلَّبُ فِي قَبْضَتِكَ غَيْرَ مُعْجِزٍ وَ لَا مُمْتَنِعٍ عَجَزْتُ عَنْ نَفْسِي وَ عَجَزَ النَّاسُ عَنِّي وَ لَا عَشِيرَةَ تَكْفِينِي وَ لَا مَالَ يَفْدِينِي وَ لَا عَمَلَ يُنْجِينِي وَ لَا قُوَّةَ لِي فَأَنْتَصِرَ وَ لَا أَنَا بَرِيءٌ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ
فَأَعْتَذِرَ وَ عَظُمَ ذَنْبِي فَلْيَسَعْ عَفْوُكَ لِمَغْفِرَتِيَ اللَّيْلَةَ بِمَا وَأَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ وَ ارْزُقْنِي الْقُوَّةَ مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي وَ الْإِصْلَاحَ مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي وَ الْعَوْنَ عَلَى مَا حَمَلْتَنِي وَ الصَّبْرَ عَلَى مَا أَبْلَيْتَنِي وَ الشُّكْرَ فِيمَا آتَيْتَنِي وَ الْبَرَكَةَ فِيمَا رَزَقْتَنِي
اللَّهُمَّ لَقِّنِّي حُجَّتِي يَوْمَ الْمَمَاتِ وَ لَا تُرِنِي عَمَلِي حَسَرَاتٍ وَ لَا تَفْضَحْنِي بِسَرِيرَتِي يَوْمَ أَلْقَاكَ وَ لَا تُخْزِنِي بِسَيِّئَاتِي وَ بِبَلَائِكَ عِنْدَ قَضَائِكَ
وَ أَصْلِحْ مَا بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَكَ وَ اجْعَلْ هَوَايَ فِي تَقْوَاكَ وَ اكْفِنِي هَوْلَ الْمُطَّلَعِ وَ مَا أَهَمَّنِي وَ مَا لَمْ يُهِمَّنِي مِمَّا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي مِنْ أَمْرِ دُنْيَايَ وَ آخِرَتِي وَ أَعِنِّي عَلَى مَا غَلَبَنِي وَ مَا لَمْ يَغْلِبْنِي فَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ بِيَدِكَ
يَا رَبِّ وَ اكْفِنِي وَ اهْدِنِي وَ أَصْلِحْ بَالِي وَ أَدْخِلْنِي الْجَنَّةَ وَ عَرِّفْهَا لِي وَ أَلْحِقْنِي بِالَّذِينَ هُمْ خَيْرٌ مِنِّي وَ ارْزُقْنِي مُرَافَقَةَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ الصِّدِّيقِينَ وَ الشُّهَداءِ وَ الصَّالِحِينَ وَ حَسُنَ أُولئِكَ رَفِيقاً أَنْتَ إِلَهُ الْحَقِّ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا رَسُولِهِ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ وَ آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً.
a-as, and Evangel of Isa-as, and Psalms of Dawood-as, and Quran of Muhammad-saww, may Allah-azwj Send Salawaat upon him-as and his-saww Progeny-asws, and the Greetings upon them-asws, and upon entirety of Your-azwj Prophets-as, and (I ask You‑azwj) by every Revelation You-azwj have Revealed, and Decree You-azwj have Decreed, and Book You‑azwj have Sent down! O God-azwj, the Manifest Truth, and the Radiant Noor! Complete the bounties upon me, and Improve the well-being for me in the matters, all of them, for rather I am You-azwj servant and son of Your-azwj servant! My forelock is in Your-azwj Hand! I turn in Your-azwj Grip helplessly and cannot prevent! I am frustrated from myself and the people are frustrated from me, and there is neither any clan to suffice me, nor wealth to ransom me, nor acts of worship to rescue me, nor is there strength for me I can be victorious with, nor am I innocent from the sins! I apologise, and my sins are might so let Your-azwj Pardon include these for Forgiving me tonight with what I have retained upon myself, and Grace me the strength for as long as You‑azwj Cause me to remain, and the Rectification for as long as You-azwj Cause me to live, and the Assistance upon what You-azwj have Loaded, and the patience upon what You-azwj have Tried me, and the thanking regarding what You-azwj have Given me, and the Blessings in what You-azwj have Graced me! O Allah-azwj! Indoctrinate me my arguments on the day of death, and do not Show me my deeds as regretful, and do not Expose me with my secrets on the Day I meet You-azwj, and do not Disgrace me with my evil deeds, and with Your-azwj calamities at Your-azwj Decree! And Rectify what is between me and You-azwj, and Make my personal desires to be in fearing You-azwj, and Suffice me of the emerging horror, and what worries me and what does not worry me, from what You-azwj are more Knowing with than me, from the matters of my world and my Hereafter, and Assist me upon what has overwhelmed me and what has not overwhelmed me, for all that is in Your-azwj Hand! O Lord-azwj, and Suffice me, and Guide me, and Correct my mind, and Admit me into the Paradise, and Introduce it to me, and Join me with those who are better than me, and Grace me friendship of the Prophets and the Truthful and the Martyrs and the Righteous; and a goodly company are they! [4: 69]! You-azwj are God-azwj of the Truth, Lord-azwj of the worlds, and may Allah-azwj Send Salawaat upon our Prophet-saww, His-azwj Rasool-saww Muhammad-saww the Prophet-saww, and his-saww Pure Progeny-asws, and abundant Greetings! ’’[44]
