📚 Bihar al-Anwar · Allamah al-Majlisi

﷽

erlook from us and them’. Then he-asws said: ‘The Praise is for Allah-azwj Who Made the earth like a receptacle [77: 25] (For) the living and the dead? [77: 26]. The Praise is for Allah-azwj Who Made our creation to be from it, and in it He-azwj will be Returning us, and upon it we will be Resurrected. Beatitude is for the one who remembers the Hereafter and works for the reckoning, and is content with the sufficient, and is pleased from Allah-azwj with that’. Then he-asws came until he-asws entered the markets of Al-Suwriyeyn. He-asws said: ‘Go in between these houses’’. [71]
And from Umar Bin Sa’ad, from Abdullah Bin Al Aasim Al Faishy who said, ‘When Ali-asws passed by the two bridges, meaning bridges of Hamdan, he-asws heard the wailing. He-asws said: ‘What are these voices? ’ It was said, ‘This is the wailing upon the ones killed at Siffeen’. He-asws said: ‘I-asws testify with the martyrdom for the ones from them killed patient, anticipating’. Then he-asws passed by Al-Faisheyn and he heard the voices. He-asws said that (as before). Then he-asws passed by Al-Shamiyeyn. He-asws heard intense buzzing and loud voices being raised. Harb Bin Shirjeel Al-Shamy went out to it. Ali-asws said: ‘Are your womenfolk overcoming you? Can you not end them from this shouting and the buzzing? ’
He said, ‘O Amir Al-Momineen-asws! If it was one house or two house or three, we would have been able upon that, but eighty or one hundred have died from this tribe, so there isn’t any house except and therein is wailing. As for us, community of men, we do not wail, but we are rejoicing for them with the martyrdom’. Ali-asws said: ‘May Allah-azwj have Mercy on your slain and your deceased’, and he went walking with him-asws, and Ali-asws was riding. Ali-asws said to him: ‘Return, for walking of the likes of you with the likes of me is Fitna for the ruler and a humiliation for the Momin’. Then he-asws went until he-asws passed by Al-Naiteyn and he-asws heard a man from them called Abdul Rahman Bin Marsad. He said, ‘What Ali-asws has done, by Allah-azwj, is a golden thing’. Then he left regarding another thing. When he looked at Amir Al-Momineen-asws, he turned wicked. He-asws said to his-asws companions: ‘A people we separated from just now are better than these ones’. Then he-asws said (a poem): ‘Your brother who aborted for a while from the time, did not accomplish did not broadcast you absolutely, and he isn’t your brother, the one who splits up your affairs losing things you still need’. Then he-asws did not cease to mention Allah-azwj until he-asws entered Al-Kufa’’. [72]
