Hadith 66

n the 20th of Jumada Al Akhirah in the year 45 after the birth of the Prophet-saww. And in ‘Al Manaqib’ it is reported that (Syeda) Fatima-asws was blessed (to her-asws parents) at Makkah five years after the Prophet-hood, and three years after the Mi’raj in the 10th of Jumadi Al Aakher. And she-asws gave birth to Al-Hassan-asws and there were twelve years for her, and it is said eleven years after Al Hijrah, and it was between her-asws giving birth to Al-Hassan-asws and her-asws conceiving Al-Husayn-asws, there were fifty days; and it is reported that she-asws was born after five years from appearance of the Message and descent of the Revelation. And he, may Allah-azwj Mercy him, regarding incidents of the 21st day of the month, and regarding night of the 21st of Ramazan. Six months before the Hijrah was the ascension with Rasool-Allah-saww, and it is said during the 17th of a month of Ramazan on the night of Saturday, and it is said on the night of Monday of a month of Rabbi Al Awwal two years after the Prophet-hood. And during night of 21st of a month of Ramazan Isa-as Ibn Maryam-as was Elevated, and Musa Bin Imran-as was recalled, and its like his-as successor Yoshua Bin Noun-as was recalled, and in ‘Al Irshad’ it was the night of Wednesday of 19th night vacant from a month of Ramazan of the year 40 from the Hijrah Ibn Muljim-la, may Allah-azwj Curse him-la, struck Amir Al Momineen-asws with the sword, and he-asws was recalled before the day of the night of Friday 21st of Ramazan of the year 40. And in the book ‘Al Zakheera’, he-asws was injured on the 19th night vacant of a month of Ramazan of the year 40, and he-asws expired during the night of the 22nd of it; and in the book ‘Al Hujjah’, he-asws was killed during month of Ramazan of seven remaining from it of the year 40 from the Hijra; and in ‘Al Tohfa’, during month of Ramazan of the year 40; and in ‘Al Tazkira’, 21st of the month of Ramazan of the year 40; and in ‘Al Kafi’, night of the 21st of the month of Ramazan of the year 40 from the Hijrah. And in ‘Kitab Ateeq’, the night of Sunday of seven remaining from Ramazan of the year 40; and in ‘Mawaleed Al Aimma-asws’, night of Sunday of nine remaining from a month of Ramazan; and in ‘Kitab Asma Hujjaj Allah-azwj’, he-asws was recalled during 21st of Ramazan in the year 40; and in ‘Tareekh’ of Al Mufeed, and during night of the 21st of Ramazan of the year 40 of the Hijrah was expiry of Amir Al Momineen Ali Bin Abu Talib-asws, may the Salawaat of Allah-azwj and His-azwj Greeting be upon him-asws. And in ‘Tareekh’ of Al Mufeed, and during night of the 21st of Ramazan of the year 40 from the Hijra was expiry of Amir Al Momineen Ali Bin Abu Talib-asws, may Salawaat of Allah-azwj and His-azwj Greetings be upon him-asws. And it is said on the day of Monday of 19th of Ramazan of the year 41 at Al Kufa, and he-asws was buried at Al Ghary and his-asws age was of 63 years; and it is said he-asws was killed during the month of Ramazan of nine past from it, and it is said of night remaining from it, the night of 21st of the year 40 from the Hijrah. And he said as well there is a difference regarding the night on which Ali-asws was martyred. One opinion is that it was the end of the 17th night of Ramazan, on the morning of Friday, in the Grand Mosque of Kufa, as narrated by Ibn Abbas. The second opinion is that it was on the night of the 21st of Ramazan, so he remained alive through Friday and Saturday, and passed away on the night of Sunday, as stated by Mujahid. The third opinion is that he was killed on the night of the twenty-seventh of the month of Ramazan. Al-Hassan Al Basri said it, and it is Laylat Al Qadr, and during it there was ascension with Isa Ibn Maryam-as, and during it was expiry of Yoshua Bin Noun-as, and this is most famous, and the walls of Al Hilla Al Sayfiya were placed on the 11th of Ramazan of the year five hundred and the year five hundred an one, Sayf Al Dowla and Sadaqa Bin Mansour Bin Ali Bin Dabeysi descended.
