الْإِقْبَالُ، رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي قُرَّةَ فِي كِتَابِهِ بِإِسْنَادِهِ إِلَى أَبِي عَمْرٍو مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نَصْرٍ السُّكَّرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ الْبَغْدَادِيَّ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُخْرِجَ إِلَيَّ دُعَاءَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي كَانَ عَمُّهُ الشَّيْخُ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْعَمْرِيُّ- رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَ أَرْضَاهُ يَدْعُو بِهِ فَأَخْرَجَ إِلَيَّ دَفْتَراً مُجَلَّداً بِأَحْمَرَ فِيهِ أَدْعِيَةُ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ مِنْ جُمْلَتِهَا الدُّعَاءُ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ-
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي تَوَجَّهْتُ إِلَيْكَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ أَمَامِي وَ عَلِيٍّ وَ جَعْفَرٍ مِنْ خَلْفِي وَ عَنْ يَمِينِي وَ أَئِمَّتِي عَنْ يَسَارِي أَسْتَتِرُ بِهِمْ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ وَ أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ زُلْفَى- لَا أَجِدُ أَحَداً أَقْرَبَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْهُمْ فَهُمْ أَئِمَّتِي فَآمِنْ بِهِمْ خَوْفِي مِنْ عِقَابِكَ وَ سَخَطِكَ وَ أَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
أَصْبَحْتُ بِاللَّهِ مُؤْمِناً مُخْلِصاً عَلَى دِينِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ سُنَّتِهِ وَ عَلَى دِينِ عَلِيٍّ وَ سُنَّتِهِ وَ عَلَى دِينِ الْأَوْصِيَاءِ وَ سُنَّتِهِمْ آمَنْتُ بِسِرِّهِمْ وَ عَلَانِيَتِهِمْ وَ أَرْغَبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ فِيمَا رَغِبَ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدٌ وَ عَلِيٌّ- وَ الْأَوْصِيَاءُ
وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ وَ لَا عِزَّةَ وَ لَا مَنَعَةَ وَ لَا سُلْطَانَ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ الْعَزِيزِ الْجَبَّارِ- تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ- وَ مَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بالِغُ أَمْرِهِ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُرِيدُكَ فَأَرِدْنِي وَ أَطْلُبُ مَا عِنْدَكَ فَيَسِّرْهُ لِي وَ اقْضِ لِي حَوَائِجِي فَإِنَّكَ قُلْتَ فِي كِتَابِكَ وَ قَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ- شَهْرُ رَمَضانَ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدىً لِلنَّاسِ وَ بَيِّناتٍ مِنَ الْهُدى وَ الْفُرْقانِ فَعَظَّمْتَ حُرْمَةَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ بِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ
وَ خَصَصْتَهُ وَ عَظَّمْتَهِ بِتَصْيِيرِكَ فِيهِ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فَقُلْتَ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ- تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلائِكَةُ وَ الرُّوحُ فِيها بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ- سَلامٌ هِيَ حَتَّى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ
اللَّهُمَّ وَ هَذِهِ أَيَّامُ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ قَدِ انْقَضَتْ وَ لَيَالِيهِ قَدْ تَصَرَّمَتْ وَ قَدْ صِرْتُ مِنْهُ يَا إِلَهِي إِلَى مَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي وَ أَحْصَى لِعَدَدِهِ مِنْ عَدَدِي
فَأَسْأَلُكَ يَا إِلَهِي بِمَا سَأَلَكَ بِهِ عِبَادُكَ الصَّالِحُونَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ
(The book) ‘Al Iqbal’ – It is reported by Muhammad Bin Abu Qurrah in his book, by his chain to Abu Amro Muhammad Bin Muhammad Bin Nasr Al Sukary, may Allah-azwj be Satisfied with him. He said, ‘I asked Abu Bakr Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Usman Al-Baghdadi, may Allah-azwj Mercy him to bring out a supplication of the month of Ramazan has emerged to me which his uncle the Sheykh Abu Ja’far Muhammad Bin Usman Bin Saeed Al-Amry, may Allah-azwj be Satisfied with him and may he Satisfy Him-azwj, was supplicating with. He brought out a register to me bound in red cover wherein were supplications of the month of Ramazan. From its total is the supplication after Salat Al-Fajr on the day of (Eid) Al-Fitr: –
‘O Allah-azwj! I divert to You-azwj through Muhammad-saww as my Imam-saww, and Ali-asws, and Ja’far-asws my supporters, and my Imams-asws on my right and on my left. I take cover by them-asws from Your-azwj Punishment and I draw closer to You-azwj in nearness. I cannot find anyone more closer to You-azwj than them-asws. They-asws are my Imams-asws, so Secure my fear by them-asws from Your-azwj Punishment and Your-azwj Wrath, and Admit me by Your-azwj Mercy among Your-azwj righteous servants! I have come to a morning believing in Allah-azwj, sincerely upon the religion of Muhammad‑saww and his-saww Sunnah, and upon the religion of Ali-asws and his-asws Sunnah, and upon the religion of successors-asws and their-asws Sunnah! I believe in their-asws secrets and their-asws announcements, and I am desirous to Allah-azwj regarding what Muhammad-saww and Ali-asws and the successors-asws had desired! And there is neither any might nor strength except with Allah-azwj, nor Power, nor Prevention, nor Authority except for Allah-azwj the One, the Subduer, the Mighty, the Compeller! I rely upon Allah-azwj, and the one who relies upon Allah-azwj, He-azwj will Suffice him. Allah-azwj will Accomplish His-azwj Command! O Allah-azwj! I intend You-azwj so Intend me, and I seek what is in Your-azwj Possession so Ease my needs for me, for You-azwj Said in Your-azwj Book, and Your-azwj Word is the Truth: The Month of Ramazan is that in which the Quran was Revealed, a Guidance for the people, and clear evidence from the Guidance and the Furqan; [2: 185]. You-azwj Magnified Sanctity of the month of Ramazan with what You-azwj Revealed in it from the Quran. And You Specialised it, and Magnified it by Your-azwj Making Laylat Al-Qadr to be in it. You-azwj Said: Surely, We Revealed it during the Night of Pre-determination [97: 1] And what make you realise what the Night of Pre-determination is? [97: 2] The Night of Pre-determination is better than a thousand months [97: 3] The Angels and the Spirit descend during it by Permission of their Lord of every matter [97: 4] Salam! It is such until emergence of the dawn [97: 5]. O Allah-azwj, and these days of the month of Ramazan have passed and its nights have expired. O my God-azwj! I have come from it to what You-azwj are more Knowing with than me, and more Counting of its numbers than my numbering. I ask You-azwj, O my God-
