الحديث 45

َالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ ع أُحَرِّجُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تَدْخُلُوا عَلَى بَيْتِي بِغَيْرِ إِذْنٍ فَرَجَعُوا وَ ثَبَتَ قُنْفُذٌ الْمَلْعُونُ فَقَالُوا إِنَّ فَاطِمَةَ قَالَتْ كَذَا وَ كَذَا فَتَحَرَّجْنَا أَنْ نَدْخُلَ بَيْتَهَا بِغَيْرِ إِذْنٍ
فَغَضِبَ عُمَرُ وَ قَالَ مَا لَنَا وَ لِلنِّسَاءِ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ أُنَاساً حَوْلَهُ بِتَحْصِيلِ الْحَطَبِ وَ حَمَلُوا الْحَطَبَ وَ حَمَلَ مَعَهُمْ عُمَرُ فَجَعَلُوهُ حَوْلَ مَنْزِلِ عَلِيٍّ ع وَ فِيهِ عَلِيٌّ وَ فَاطِمَةُ وَ ابْنَاهُمَا ع
ثُمَّ نَادَى عُمَرُ حَتَّى أَسْمَعَ عَلِيّاً وَ فَاطِمَةَ وَ اللَّهِ لَتَخْرُجَنَّ يَا عَلِيُّ وَ لَتُبَايِعَنَّ خَلِيفَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَ إِلَّا أَضْرَمْتُ عَلَيْكَ النَّارَ
فَقَامَتْ فَاطِمَةُ ع فَقَالَتْ يَا عُمَرُ مَا لَنَا وَ لَكَ فَقَالَ افْتَحِي الْبَابَ وَ إِلَّا أَحْرَقْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ بَيْتَكُمْ فَقَالَتْ يَا عُمَرُ أَ مَا تَتَّقِي اللَّهَ تَدْخُلُ عَلَى بَيْتِي
فَأَبَى أَنْ يَنْصَرِفَ وَ دَعَا عُمَرُ بِالنَّارِ فَأَضْرَمَهَا فِي الْبَابِ ثُمَّ دَفَعَهُ فَدَخَلَ فَاسْتَقْبَلَتْهُ فَاطِمَةُ ع وَ صَاحَتْ يَا أَبَتَاهْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَرَفَعَ عُمَرُ السَّيْفَ وَ هُوَ فِي غِمْدِهِ فَوَجَأَ بِهِ جَنْبَهَا فَصَرَخَتْ يَا أَبَتَاهْ فَرَفَعَ السَّوْطَ فَضَرَبَ بِهِ ذِرَاعَهَا فَنَادَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَبِئْسَ مَا خَلَفَكَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَ عُمَرُ
فَوَثَبَ عَلِيٌّ ع فَأَخَذَ بِتَلَابِيهِ فَصَرَعَهُ وَ وَجَأَ أَنْفَهُ وَ رَقَبَتَهُ وَ هَمَّ بِقَتْلِهِ فَذَكَرَ قَوْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص وَ مَا أَوْصَاهُ بِهِ فَقَالَ وَ الَّذِي كَرَّمَ مُحَمَّداً ص بِالنُّبُوَّةِ يَا ابْنَ صُهَاكَ لَوْ لا كِتابٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ سَبَقَ وَ عَهْدٌ عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص لَعَلِمْتَ أَنَّكَ لَا تَدْخُلُ بَيْتِي
فَأَرْسَلَ عُمَرُ يَسْتَغِيثُ فَأَقْبَلَ النَّاسُ حَتَّى دَخَلُوا الدَّارَ وَ ثَارَ عَلِيٌّ ع إِلَى سَيْفِهِ فَرَجَعَ قُنْفُذٌ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَ هُوَ يَتَخَوَّفُ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ عَلِيٌّ ع بِسَيْفِهِ لِمَا قَدْ عَرَفَ مِنْ بَأْسِهِ وَ شِدَّتِهِ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ لِقُنْفُذٍ ارْجِعْ فَإِنْ خَرَجَ فَاقْتَحِمْ عَلَيْهِ بَيْتَهُ فَإِنِ امْتَنَعَ فَأَضْرِمْ عَلَيْهِمْ بَيْتَهُمُ النَّارَ
فَانْطَلَقَ قُنْفُذٌ الْمَلْعُونُ فَاقْتَحَمَ هُوَ وَ أَصْحَابُهُ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنٍ وَ ثَارَ عَلِيٌّ ع إِلَى سَيْفِهِ فَسَبَقُوهُ إِلَيْهِ وَ كَاثَرُوهُ فَتَنَاوَلَ بَعْضَ سُيُوفِهِمْ فَكَاثَرُوهُ فَأَلْقَوْا فِي عُنُقِهِ حَبْلًا وَ حَالَتْ بَيْنَهُمْ وَ بَيْنَهُ فَاطِمَةُ ع عِنْدَ بَابِ الْبَيْتِ
فَضَرَبَهَا قُنْفُذٌ الْمَلْعُونُ بِالسَّوْطِ فَمَاتَتْ حِينَ مَاتَتْ وَ إِنَّ فِي عَضُدِهَا مِثْلَ الدُّمْلُجِ مِنْ ضَرْبَتِهِ لَعَن
med. They said, (Syeda) ‘Fatima-asws said such and such, and she-asws forbid us from entering her-asws house without permission’. Umar got angered and said, ‘What is it to us and the women? ’ Then he ordered the people around him with collecting the firewood, and they carried the firewood, and Umar carried along with them, and they made it to be around the house of Ali-asws, and in it were Ali-asws, and (Syeda) Fatima-asws, and her-asws two sons-asws’. Then Umar called out until Ali-asws and (Syeda) Fatima-asws heard, ‘By Allah-azwj! Either you-asws will come out, O Ali-asws, and pledged allegiance to the caliph of Rasool-Allah-saww, or else I will ignite the fire upon you-asws! ’
(Syeda) Fatima-asws stood up and said, ‘O Umar! What have we-asws to do with you? ’ He said, ‘Open the door or else I will burn your house upon you’. She-asws said, ‘O Umar! Do you not fear Allah-azwj, in entering into my-asws house? ’
But he refused to leave. And Umar called for the fire and ignited it in the door. Then he pushed it and entered. (Syeda) Fatima-asws was facing him, and she-asws shouted: ‘O father-saww! O Rasool-Allah-saww! ’ Umar raised the sword, and it was in its sheath, and pained her-asws side with it. She-asws cried out: ‘O father-saww! ’ He raised the whip and struck her-asws forearm with it. She-asws called out: ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! Evil is what Abu Bakr and Umar have replaced you-saww with! ’
Ali-asws leapt and grabbed his collar and wrestled him and pained his nose and his neck, and thought of killing him. Then he-asws remembered the words of Rasool-Allah-saww and what he-saww had bequeathed him-asws with. He-asws said: ‘By the One-azwj Who Honoured Muhammad-saww with the Prophet-hood, O Ibn Sahhak! Had there not been a preceding Book from Allah [8: 68], and a pact promised to me-asws by Rasool-Allah-saww, you would have known that you cannot enter my-asws house! ’
Umar yelled for help, and the people came until they enter the house, and Ali-asws reached for his-asws sword. So, Qunfuz returned and he was scared of Ali-asws bringing out his-asws sword due to what he had recognise from his-asws bravery and severity. Abu Bakr said to Qunfuz, ‘Return. If he-asws comes out, storm his-asws house unto him-asws, and if he-asws refuses, then ignite the fire upon their house! ’
Qunfuz the accursed went, and he and his companions stormed in without permission, and Ali-asws reached for his-asws sword, but he preceded him-asws to it, and they were many of them. Some of them grabbed their swords and they were many, and they threw a rope upon his-asws neck, and (Syeda) Fatima-asws blocked between them and him-asws at the door of the house. Qunfuz the accursed hit her-asws with the whip. She-asws passed away when she-asws passed away and in her-asws upper arm was the swelling from his-la strike, may Allah-azwj Curse him-la. Then they went with Ali-asws dragging until they ended with him-asws to Abu Bakr, and Umar was standing with the sword upon his head, and (so were) Kh
