ب، قرب الإسناد ابْنُ طَرِيفٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُلْوَانَ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً ع كَانَ يَقُولُ لِأَهْلِ حَرْبِهِ إِنَّا لَمْ نُقَاتِلْهُمْ عَلَى التَّكْفِيرِ لَهُمْ وَ لَمْ نُقَاتِلْهُمْ عَلَى التَّكْفِيرِ لَنَا وَ لَكِنَّا رَأَيْنَا أَنَّا عَلَى حَقٍّ وَ رَأَوْا أَنَّهُمْ عَلَى حَقٍّ.
(The book) ‘Qurb Al Asnaad’ – Ibn Tareyf, from Ibn Ulwan, ‘From Ja’far-asws from his-asws father-asws: ‘Ali-asws was saying to his-asws soldiers: ‘We-asws are not fighting them upon the ‘Takfeer’ (Them becoming Kafirs) and we-asws are not being fought against upon the ‘Takfeer’ to us, but we view us being upon a right, and they are viewing they are upon a right’’. [191]
