َا صَنَعْتَهُ بِي قَبْلُ قَالَ وَ مَا يَمْنَعُنِي وَ أَنْتَ تُؤَدِّي عَنِّي وَ تُسْمِعُهُمْ صَوْتِي وَ تُبَيِّنُ لَهُمْ مَا اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ بَعْدِي. الْخَبَرُ الْعَاشِرُ ادْعُوا لِي سَيِّدَ الْعَرَبِ عَلِيّاً فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ أَ لَسْتَ سَيِّدَ الْعَرَبِ فَقَالَ أَنَا سَيِّدُ وُلْدِ آدَمَ وَ عَلِيٌّ سَيِّدُ الْعَرَبِ
فَلَمَّا جَاءَ أَرْسَلَ إِلَى الْأَنْصَارِ فَأَتَوْهُ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْأَنْصَارِ أَ لَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا إِنْ تَمَسَّكْتُمْ بِهِ لَنْ تَضِلُّوا أَبَداً قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
قَالَ هَذَا عَلِيٌّ فَأَحِبُّوهُ بِحُبِّي وَ أَكْرِمُوهُ بِكَرَامَتِي فَإِنَّ جَبْرَئِيلَ أَمَرَنِي بِالَّذِي قُلْتُ لَكُمْ عَنِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ. الْخَبَرُ الْحَادِيَ عَشَرَ مَرْحَباً بِسَيِّدِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ إِمَامِ الْمُتَّقِينَ فَقِيلَ لِعَلِيٍّ ع كَيْفَ شُكْرُكَ فَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ اللَّهَ عَلَى مَا آتَانِي وَ أَسْأَلُهُ الشُّكْرَ عَلَى مَا أَوْلَانِي وَ أَنْ يَزِيدَنِي مِمَّا أَعْطَانِي. الْخَبَرُ الثَّانِيَ عَشَرَ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَحْيَا حَيَاتِي وَ يَمُوتَ مَمَاتِي وَ يَسْكُنَ جَنَّةَ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي غَرَسَهَا رَبِّي فَلْيُوَالِ عَلِيّاً مِنْ بَعْدِي وَ لْيُوَالِ وَلِيَّهُ وَ لْيَقْتَدِ بِالْأَئِمَّةِ مِنْ بَعْدِي فَإِنَّهُمْ عِتْرَتِي خُلِقُوا مِنْ طِينَتِي وَ رُزِقُوا فَهْماً وَ عِلْماً
فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي الْقَاطِعِينَ فِيهِمْ صِلَتِي لَا أَنَالَهُمُ اللَّهُ شَفَاعَتِي. الْخَبَرُ الثَّالِثَ عَشَرَ بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص خَالِدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ فِي سَرِيَّةٍ وَ بَعَثَ عَلِيّاً فِي سَرِيَّةٍ أُخْرَى وَ كِلَاهُمَا إِلَى الْيَمَنِ وَ قَالَ إِنِ اجْتَمَعْتُمَا فَعَلِيٌّ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَ إِنْ افْتَرَقْتُمَا فَكُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُمَا عَلَى جُنْدِهِ
فَاجْتَمَعَا وَ أَغَارَا وَ سَبَيَا نِسَاءً وَ أَخَذَا أَمْوَالًا وَ قَتَلَا نَاساً وَ أَخَذَ عَلِيٌّ ع جَارِيَةً فَاخْتَصَّهَا لِنَفْسِهِ فَقَالَ خَالِدٌ لِأَرْبَعَةٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مِنْهُمْ بُرَيْدَةُ الْأَسْلَمِيُّ اسْبَقُوا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص فَاذْكُرُوا لَهُ كَذَا وَ اذْكُرُوا لَهُ كَذَا لِأُمُورٍ عَدَّدَهَا عَلَى عَلِيٍّ ع
فَسَبَقُوا إِلَيْهِ فَجَاءَ وَاحِدٌ مِنْ جَانِبِهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ عَلِيّاً فَعَلَ كَذَا فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ فَجَاءَ الْآخَرُ مِنَ الْجَانِبِ الْآخَرِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ عَلِيّاً فَعَلَ كَذَا فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ فَجَاءَ بُرَيْدَةُ الْأَسْلَمِيُّ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ عَلِيّاً فَعَلَ كَذَا وَ أَخَذَ جَارِيَةً لِنَفْسِهِ
فَغَضِبَ حَتَّى احْمَرَّ وَجْهُهُ وَ قَالَ دَعُوا لِي عَلِيّاً يُكَرِّرُهَا إِنَّ عَلِيّاً مِنِّي
and clarify for them whatever they are differing in after me-saww? ’’[204]
The tenth Hadeeth – Call chief of the Arabs, Ali-asws for me-saww’. Ayesha said, ‘Aren’t you-saww chief of the Arabs? ’ He-saww said: ‘I-saww am chief of the children of Adam-as, and Ali-asws is chief of the Arabs’. When he-asws came, he-saww sent for the Helpers, and they came to him-saww. He-saww said to them: ‘O community of Helpers! Shall I-saww point you all upon what, if you were to adhere with it, you will never stray, ever? ’ They said, ‘Yes, O Rasool-Allah-saww! ’
He-saww said: ‘This Ali-asws! So, love him-asws with my-saww love, and honour him-asws with my-saww honour, for Jibraeel-as has commanded me-saww with that which I-saww have said to you all, on behalf of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic’’. [205]
The eleventh Hadeeth – ‘Welcome to chief of the Momineen and Imam-asws of the pious’. It was said to Ali-asws, ‘How is your-asws gratefulness? ’ He-asws said: ‘I-asws praise Allah-azwj upon what He-azwj has Given me-asws and I-asws ask Him-azwj to thank upon what He-azwj has Preferred me-asws and that He-azwj should Increase in what He-azwj has Given me-asws’’. [206]
The twelfth Hadeeth – One whom it cheers that he lives my-saww life and dies my-saww expiry, and settle in the Garden of Eden which My-azwj Lord-azwj has Planted, let him befriend Ali-asws from after me-saww, and let him befriend his-asws friend, and let him be led by the Imams-asws from after me-saww, for they-asws are my-saww family. They-asws have been Created from my-saww clay and have been Graced understanding and knowledge. So, woe be unto the beliers from my-saww community, the ones cutting my-saww connection regarding them-asws. May Allah-azwj not let them achieve my-saww intercession’’. [207]
The thirteenth Hadeeth – Rasool-Allah-saww send Khalid Bin Al Waleed in a battalion and sent Ali-asws in another battalion, and both of them to Al-Yemen, and said: ‘When you are together, then Ali-asws is (commander) upon the people, and when you are separate, then each one from you is (commander) upon his army’. They got together and raided, and a woman was capture, and they seized wealth, and killed some people, and Ali-asws took a maid and chose her for himself-asws. Khalid said to four of the Muslims, from them being Bureyda Al-Aslami, ‘Proceed to Rasool-Allah-saww and mention to him-saww such and such affair’, counting them against Ali-asws. They proceeded to him-saww. One came from his-saww side and said, ‘Ali-asws has done such and such’. But he-saww turned away from him. The other one came from the other side and said, ‘Ali-asws has done such and such’. He-saww turned away from him. Bureyda Al Aslami came and said, ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! Ali-asws has done such and such and has taken a maid for himself-asws’. He-saww got angry to the extent that his-saww face reddened, and he-saww said: ‘Leave Ali-asws for me-saww! ’ – repeating it –: ‘Ali-asws is from me-saww and I-saww am from Ali-asws, and his-asws share in the fifth (Khums) is more than what he-asws has taken, and he-asws is a guardian of every Momin from after me-saww’’. [208]
