Bihar al-Anwar · Allamah al-Majlisi
عم، إعلام الورى شا، الإرشاد رَوَى عَمْرُو بْنُ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ يُصَلِّي فِي الْيَوْمِ وَ اللَّيْلَةِ أَلْفَ رَكْعَةٍ وَ كَانَتِ الرِّيحُ تُمِيلُهُ بِمَنْزِلَةِ السُّنْبُلَةِ.
(The books) ‘I’lam Al Wara’, (and) ‘Al Irshad’ – It is reported by Amro Bin shimr, from Jabir al Jufy, ‘From Abu Ja’far-asws having said: ‘Ali-asws Bin Al-Husayn-asws used to pray a thousand Cycles of Salat during the day and night, and the wind would tilt him-asws being like the spike’’. [176]
