كا، الكافي عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ غُلَامٍ أَعْتَقَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع هَذَا مَا أَعْتَقَ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَعْتَقَ غُلَامَهُ السِّنْدِيَّ فُلَاناً عَلَى أَنَّهُ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ
وَ أَنَّ الْبَعْثَ حَقٌّ وَ أَنَّ الْجَنَّةَ حَقٌّ وَ أَنَّ النَّارَ حَقٌّ وَ عَلَى أَنَّهُ يُوَالِي أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ وَ يَتَبَرَّأُ مِنْ أَعْدَاءِ اللَّهِ وَ يُحِلُّ حَلَالَ اللَّهِ وَ يُحَرِّمُ حَرَامَ اللَّهِ وَ يُؤْمِنُ بِرُسُلِ اللَّهِ وَ يُقِرُّ بِمَا جَاءَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ
أَعْتَقَهُ لِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ لَا يُرِيدُ بِهِ مِنْهُ جَزاءً وَ لا شُكُوراً وَ لَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ عَلَيْهِ سَبِيلٌ إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ شَهِدَ فُلَانٌ.
(The book) ‘Al Kafi’ – Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, ‘From Muhammad Bin Sinan about a slave emancipated by Abu Abdullah-asws – ‘This is what Ja’far-asws Bin Muhammad-asws emancipated his-asws slave, the deed of so and so upon (the stipulation) that he would testify that there is no god except for Allah-azwj, One, there being no associate for Him-azwj, and that Muhammad-saww is His-azwj servant and His-azwj Rasoolsaw. And that the Resurrection is true, and that the Paradise is true, and that the Fire is true, and upon (the stipulation) that he would befriend the friends of Allah-azwj, and would disavow from the enemies of Allah-azwj, and would permit the Permissibles of Allah-azwj, and would prohibit the Prohibitions of Allah-azwj, and he would believe in Rasool-Allah-saww and agree with what he-saww came with from the Presence of Allah-azwj. I-asws hereby emancipate him for the Face of Allah-azwj, not intending by it a Recompense, nor thanks, and there is no way upon him for anyone except with goodness’. Witnessed by so and so’’. [134]
