Hadith 124

The book) ‘Al Kharaij Wa Al Jaraih’ – It is reported from Bakr Bin Salih who said, ‘I came to Al-Reza-asws and said, ‘My wife is a sister of Muhammad Bin Sinan. There is pregnancy with her, so supplicate to Allah-azwj that He-azwj Makes it to be a male’. He-asws said: ‘They are two (twins)’. I said within myself, ‘They are ‘Muhammad’ and ‘Ali’, after my leaving. He-asws called me and said: ‘Named one of them as ‘Ali’ and the other one as ‘Umm Umar’. I arrived at Al-Kufa and there had been born for me a boy and a girl in one belly (pregnancy). I named as he-asws had instructed me. I said to my mother, ‘What is the meaning of ‘Umm Umar’? ’ She said, ‘My mother used to call me ‘Umm Umar’’. [132]
