Bihar al-Anwar · Allamah al-Majlisi
(The book) ‘Al Kharaij Wa Al Jaraih’ – It is reported by Al-Hassan Bin Saeed, from Al Fazl Bin Yunus who said, ‘We went out intending Al-Medina, and Haroun Al-Rasheed was at it intending the Hajj. Al-Reza-asws came to me and there was a group of our companions with me, and the lunch had been presented. The slave entered and said, ‘There is a man at the door teknonymed as ‘Abu Al-Hassan’ seeking permission to see you! ’
I said, ‘If he-asws is the one whom I know, then you are hereby free! ’ I went out and there I was with Al-Reza-asws’. I said, ‘(Please) Descend! ’ He-asws descended and entered. Then he-asws said after the meal: ‘O Fazl! The commander of the faithful wrote to Al-Husayn Bin Zays with ten thousand Dinars, and wrote with it to you, so hand it over to Al-Husayn’. He (the narrator) said, ‘I said, ‘By Allah-azwj! There is nothing for them with me, neither little nor more. If I were to take it out, I would go. If there was a view for you-asws regarding that, I shall do so’. He-asws said: ‘O Fazl! Hand it over to him, for it shall be returned to you before you go to your house’. I handed it to him, and it was returned to be just as he-asws had said’’. [140]
