رِجَالُ الْكَشِّيِّ، قَالَ: كَتَبَ الْهَادِي ع إِلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَحْفَظَكَ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْكَ وَ مِنْ خَلْفِكَ وَ فِي كُلِّ حَالاتِكَ فَأَبْشِرْ فَإِنِّي أَرْجُو أَنْ يَدْفَعَ اللَّهُ عَنْكَ
وَ اللَّهَ أَسْأَلُ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ لَكَ الْخِيَرَةَ فِيمَا عَزَمَ لَكَ مِنَ الشُّخُوصِ فِي يَوْمِ الْأَحَدِ وَ أَخِّرْ ذَلِكَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْإِثْنَيْنِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ صَحِبَكَ اللَّهُ فِي سَفَرِكَ وَ خَلَّفَكَ فِي أَهْلِكَ وَ أَدَّى عَنْكَ وَ سَلِمْتَ بِقُدْرَتِهِ. باب 19 يوم الأربعاء
(The book) ‘Rijal’ of Al Kashy who said, ‘Al Hady-asws wrote to Ali Bin Mahziyar: ‘I-asws ask Allah-azwj to Protect you from in front of you, and from behind you, and in every situation of yours, so receive glad tidings, for I-asws wish that Allah-azwj would Defend you! By Allah-azwj! I-asws ask that He-azwj Makes the choice to be for you to what is Determined for you from the going out during the day of Sunday, and Delay that to the day of Monday. If Allah-azwj so Desires, Allah-azwj will Accompany you in your travels and be a Replacement for you in your family, and Fulfill on your behalf, and Keep you safe by His-azwj Power’’. [72]
