(The book) ‘Al Kafi’ – from a number of his companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Muhammad Bin Uzafir who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah-asws about the bird sent with a message from the remote city it has not seen at all, so it comes? He-asws said: ‘O Ibn Uzafir! It comes to the house of its owner from (a distance of) thirty Farsakhs, based upon it’s recognition and it’s sensory perceptions. When (the distance) increases upon thirty Farsakhs, it comes to its nourishers for their sustenance’’. [66]
