أَعْلَامُ الدِّينِ، رُوِيَ عَنْ أُوَيْسٍ الْقَرَنِيِّ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ سَأَلَهُ كَيْفَ حَالُكَ فَقَالَ كَيْفَ يَكُونُ حَالُ مَنْ يُصْبِحُ يَقُولُ لَا أُمْسِي وَ يُمْسِي يَقُولُ لَا أُصْبِحُ
يُبَشَّرُ بِالْجَنَّةِ وَ لَا يَعْمَلُ عَمَلَهَا وَ يُحَذَّرُ النَّارَ وَ لَا يَتْرُكُ مَا يُوجِبُهَا
وَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الْمَوْتَ وَ غُصَصَهُ وَ كُرُبَاتِهِ وَ ذِكْرَ هَوْلِ الْمُطَّلَعِ وَ أَهْوَالِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لَمْ تَدَعْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَرَحاً وَ إِنَّ حُقُوقَ اللَّهِ لَمْ تُبْقِ لَنَا ذَهَباً وَ لَا فِضَّةً وَ إِنَّ قِيَامَ الْمُؤْمِنِ بِالْحَقِّ فِي النَّاسِ لَمْ يَدَعْ لَهُ صَدِيقاً
نَأْمُرُهُمْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَ نَنْهَاهُمْ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ فَيَشْتِمُونَ أَعْرَاضَنَا وَ يَرْمُونَنَا بِالْجَرَائِمِ وَ الْمَعَايِبِ وَ الْعَظَائِمِ وَ يَجِدُونَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ أَعْوَاناً مِنَ الْفَاسِقِينَ إِنَّهُ وَ اللَّهِ لَا يَمْنَعُنَا ذَلِكَ أَنْ نَقُومَ فِيهِمْ بِحَقِّ اللَّهِ. باب 82 الركون إلى الظالمين و حبهم و طاعتهم
(The book) ‘A’lam Al Deen’ –
It is reported from Oweys Al-Qarany, may Allah-saww be Pleased with him, said to a man who had asked him, ‘How is your state? ’ He said, ‘How can the state be of one who comes to a morning saying, ‘I will not come to the evening’, and in the evening he says, ‘I will not come to the morning’? He is given glad tidings of the Paradise and he does not do its work, and he is cautioned of the Fire and he does not leave what obligates it. By Allah-azwj! The death and its suffocation, and its distress, and mention of the emerging horror and horrors of the Day of Qiyamah do not leave any happiness for the Momin in the world, and the rights of Allah-azwj do not let to remain gold nor silver for us, and the standing by the Momin with the rights among the people does not leave any friend for him. We instruct them with the acts of kindness and forbid them from the evil, so they are insulting our honours and are accusing us with the crimes and the faults and the grievousness, and they are finding upon that supporters from the mischief-makers. By Allah-azwj! That still does not prevent us from standing among them with the rights of Allah-azwj! ’’[277] (Not a Hadeeth)
