Bihar al-Anwar · Allamah al-Majlisi
وَ قَالَ ع إِنَّ أَحْسَنَ مَا يَأْلَفُ بِهِ النَّاسُ قُلُوبَ أَوِدَّائِهِمْ وَ نَفَوْا بِهِ الضِّغْنَ عَنْ قُلُوبِ أَعْدَائِهِمْ حُسْنُ الْبِشْرِ عِنْدَ لِقَائِهِمْ وَ التَّفَقُّدُ فِي غَيْبَتِهِمْ وَ الْبَشَاشَةُ بِهِمْ عِنْدَ حُضُورِهِمْ.
And he-asws said: ‘The best of what hearts of the people can be united with is cordiality, grudges from the hearts of their enemy can be negated with it by goodly smiles when facing them, and inquiring during their absence, and friendliness with them during their presence’’. [193]
