أَنْ تَنْظُرَ فِي حَاجَتِي إِلَيْكَ وَ أَنْ تَرْزُقَنِي نَعِيمَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ حُسْنَ ثَوَابِ أَهْلِهَا فِي دَارِ الْمُقَامَةِ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَ مَنَازِلَ الْأَخْيَارِ فِي ظِلٍّ أَمِينٍ
فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ بَرَأْتَنِي وَ أَنْتَ تُعِيدُنِي لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَ إِلَيْكَ فَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي وَ إِلَيْكَ أَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي وَ عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَ بِكَ وَثِقْتُ
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَدْعُوكَ دُعَاءَ ضَعِيفٍ مُضْطَرٍّ وَ رَحْمَتُكَ يَا رَبِّ أَوْثَقُ عِنْدِي مِنْ دُعَائِي
اللَّهُمَّ فَأْذَنِ اللَّيْلَةَ لِدُعَائِي أَنْ يُعْرَجَ إِلَيْكَ وَ أْذَنْ لِكَلَامِي أَنْ يَلِجَ إِلَيْكَ وَ اصْرِفْ بَصَرَكَ عَنْ خَطِيئَتِي
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ فَاسِقاً- أَوْ أَنْ أَغْوِيَ نَاسِكاً أَوْ أَنْ أَعْمَلَ بِمَا لَا تَهْوَى فَأَنْتَ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ الْعُلَى وَ أَنْتَ تَرَى وَ لَا تُرَى وَ أَنْتَ بِالْمَنْظَرِ الْأَعْلَى فالِقُ الْحَبِّ وَ النَّوى
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ اللَّيْلَةَ أَفْضَلَ النَّصِيبِ فِي الْأَنْصِبَاءِ وَ أَتَمَّ النِّعْمَةِ فِي النَّعْمَاءِ وَ أَفْضَلَ الشُّكْرِ فِي السَّرَّاءِ وَ أَحْسَنَ الصَّبْرِ فِي الضَّرَّاءِ وَ أَفْضَلَ الرُّجُوعِ إِلَى أَفْضَلِ دَارِ الْمَأْوَى
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ الْمَحَبَّةَ لِمَحَابِّكَ وَ الْعِصْمَةَ لِمَحَارِمِكَ وَ الْوَجَلَ مِنْ خَشْيَتِكَ وَ الْخَشْيَةَ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ وَ النَّجَاةَ مِنْ عِقَابِكَ وَ الرَّغْبَةَ فِي حُسْنِ ثَوَابِكَ وَ الْفِقْهَ فِي دِينِكَ وَ الْفَهْمَ فِي كِتَابِكَ
وَ الْقُنُوعَ بِرِزْقِكَ وَ الْوَرَعَ عَنْ مَحَارِمِكَ وَ الِاسْتِحْلَالَ لِحَلَالِكَ وَ التَّحْرِيمَ لِحَرَامِكَ وَ الِانْتِهَاءَ عَنْ مَعَاصِيكَ وَ الْحِفْظَ لِوَصِيَّتِكَ وَ الصِّدْقَ بِوَعْدِكَ وَ الْوَفَاءَ بِعَهْدِكَ وَ الِاعْتِصَامَ بِحَبْلِكَ
وَ الْوُقُوفَ عِنْدَ مَوْعِظَتِكَ وَ الِازْدِجَارَ عِنْدَ زَوَاجِرِكَ وَ الِاصْطِبَارَ عَلَى عِبَادَتِكَ وَ الْعَمَلَ بِجَمِيعِ أَمْرِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ عَلَى عِتْرَتِهِ الْمَهْدِيِّينَ وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ.
u-azwj, and to Grace me bounties of the Hereafter, and goodly Rewards of its people in the house of staying, from Your-azwj Grace and dwellings of the good in shades! Ameen! Surely, You-azwj Fashioned me, and You-azwj will be returning me to You-azwj! I have submitted myself and I delegate my affairs to You-azwj, and I shelter my back to You-azwj, and have relied upon You-azwj, and trust with You-azwj! O Allah-azwj! I supplicate to You-azwj a supplication of a weak person, desperate, Your-azwj Mercy O Lord-azwj, is more trusting with me than my supplication! O Allah-azwj! Grant Permission for my supplication to be ascended to You-azwj, and Permit for my speech to permeate to You-azwj and Turn Your-azwj Sight away from my wrongdoings! O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, and I seek Refuge with You-azwj from straying in this tonight as a mischief maker, or from deviating ritualists (others), or from working with what You-azwj don’t like! So, You-azwj are Lord-azwj of the lofty skies, and You-azwj can See and cannot be seen, and You-azwj are with the exalting scenario, Splitter of the seed and the kernel! O Allah-azwj! I ask You-azwj tonight for the best share among the shares, and the most complete of the bounties among the bounties, and best of the thanks in the prosperity, and excellent patience in the adversity, and best of the return to the best house of abode! O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and his-saww Progeny-asws, and I ask You-azwj for the love of the ones You-azwj Love, and the Protection from Your-azwj Prohibitions, and the dread from fearing You-azwj, and the fearing from You-azwj Punishment, and the salvation from Your-azwj Punishment, and the desires in Your-azwj excellent Rewards, and the understanding in Your-azwj religion, and the understanding in Your-azwj Book! And the contentment with Your-azwj sustenance, and the devoutness from Your-azwj Prohibitions, and the permitting of Your-azwj Permissibles, and the forbidding of Your-azwj Prohibitions, and the ending from disobeying You-azwj, and the preservation of Your-azwj Advice, and the ratifying of Your-azwj Promise, and the loyalty with Your-azwj Covenant, and the holding to Your-azwj rope! And the pausing at Your-azwj Preaching, and being rebuked at Your-azwj Rebuke, and the patience upon worshipping You-azwj, and the working with entirety of Your-azwj Commands, O most Merciful of the merciful ones! And may Allah-azwj Send Salawaat upon our chief Muhammad-saww, last of the Prophets-saww, and upon his-saww family, the Guided ones, and the Greetings upon them-asws, and the Mercy of Allah-azwj and His-azwj Blessings! ’’[36]
