الْبَلَدُ، وَ الْمَجْمُوعُ، دُعَاءُ يَوْمِ الْخَمِيسِ لِعَلِيٍّ ع بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي [لَهُ] فِي كُلِّ نَفَسٍ مِنَ الْأَنْفَاسِ وَ خَطَرَةٍ مِنَ الْخَطَرَاتِ مِنَّا مِنَنٌ لَا تُحْصَى وَ فِي كُلِّ لَحْظَةٍ مِنَ اللَّحَظَاتِ نِعَمٌ لَا تُنْسَى وَ فِي كُلِّ حَالٍ مِنَ الْحَالاتِ عَائِدَةٌ لَا تَخْفَى
وَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي يَقْهَرُ الْقَوِيَّ وَ يَنْصُرُ الضَّعِيفَ وَ يَجْبُرُ الْكَسِيرَ وَ يُغْنِي الْفَقِيرَ وَ يَقْبَلُ الْيَسِيرَ وَ يُعْطِي الْكَثِيرَ وَ هُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ السَّابِغُ النِّعْمَةِ الْبَالِغُ الْحِكْمَةِ الدَّامِغُ الْحُجَّةِ الْوَاسِعُ الرَّحْمَةِ الْمَانِعُ الْعِصْمَةِ
وَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ذُو السُّلْطَانِ الْمَنِيعِ وَ الْبُنْيَانِ الرَّفِيعِ وَ الإِنْشَاءِ الْبَدِيعِ وَ الْحِسَابِ السَّرِيعِ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ خَيْرِ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ سُؤَالَ الْخَائِفِ مِنْ وَقْفَةِ الْمَوْقِفِ الْوَجِلِ مِنَ الْعَرْضِ الْمُشْفِقِ مِنَ الْحِسَابِ الْمُسْتَعِيذِ مِنْ بَوَائِقِ الْقِيَامَةِ الْمَأْخُوذِ عَلَى الْغِرَّةِ النَّادِمِ عَلَى خَطِيئَتِهِ الْمَسْئُولِ الْمُحَاسَبِ الْمُثَابِ الْمُعَاقَبِ
الَّذِي لَمْ يُكِنَّهُ عَنْكَ مَكَانٌ وَ لَا وَجَدَ مَفَرّاً إِلَيْكَ سِوَاكَ مُتَنَصِّلٍ مِنْ سَيِّئِ عَمَلِهِ مُقِرٍّ قَدْ أَحَاطَتْ بِهِ الْهُمُومُ وَ ضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِ رَحَائِبُ التُّخُومِ مُوقِنٍ بِالْمَوْتِ مُبَادِرٍ بِالتَّوْبَةِ قَبْلَ الْفَوْتِ أَنْتَ مَنَنْتَ بِهَا عَلَيْهِ وَ عَفَوْتَ عَنْهُ
فَأَنْتَ إِلَهِي رَجَائِي إِذْ ضَاقَ عَنِّي الرَّجَاءُ وَ مَلْجَئِي إِذْ لَمْ أَجِدْ فِنَاءً لِلِالْتِجَاءِ تَوَحَّدْتَ سَيِّدِي بِالْعِزِّ وَ الْعَلَاءِ وَ تَفَرَّدْتَ بِالْوَحْدَانِيَّةِ وَ الْبَقَاءِ وَ أَنْتَ الْمُتَعَزِّزُ الْفَرْدُ الْمُتَعَالِ ذُو الْمَجْدِ
فَلَكَ رَبِّ الْحَمْدُ لَا يُوَارِي مِنْكَ مَكَانٌ وَ لَا يُغَيِّرُكَ زَمَانٌ تَأَلَّفْتَ بِلُطْفِكَ الْفَرَ
(The books) ‘Al Balad’ and ‘Al Majmoun’ –
A supplication of Ali-asws on the day of Thursday – ‘In the Name of Allah-azwj the Beneficent, the Merciful! The Praise is for Allah-azwj for Whom is every breath from the breaths, and thought from the thoughts from us as Conferment which cannot be counted, and in every moment from the moments, a bounty not to be forgotten, and in every situation from the situations, a return not hidden! And Glorious is Allah-azwj Who Subdues the strong, and Helps the weak, and Repairs the broken, and Enriches the poverty, and Accepts the little, and Gives the lot, and He-azwj is Able upon all things, and there is no god except Allah-azwj the Perfector of the bounties, the Extensive of the Wisdom, the Irrefutable of the Argument, the Invincible of the Protection! And Allah-azwj is Greatest, with the irresistible Authority, and the lofty foundation, and the Creator of the originals, and the swift Reckoning! And may Allah-azwj Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww, best of the Prophets-as, and his-saww goodly Progeny-asws and abundant Greetings! O Allah-azwj! I ask You-azwj asking by a fearful from standing in his pausing, the dreading from the presentation, the anxious from the Reckoning, the seeker of shelter from horrors of the Qiyamah, the Seized upon the inattention, the regretting upon his wrongdoing, the Questioned, the Reckoned, the Rewarded, the Punished. The one who has no refuge other than You-azwj, no escape from You-azwj, seeking refuge in You‑azwj Alone, turning away from the evil of his deeds, humbled, surrounded by worries, and the horizons have become narrow for him. He-azwj is certain of death, hastening towards repentance before it is too late. You-azwj have Bestowed Grace upon him, and You-azwj have Forgiven him! You-azwj are my God-azwj, my hope when the hope is narrow for me, and my refuge when I find no place for shelter. My Lord-azwj! You-azwj have singled Yourself-azwj out with Glory and Excellence, and You-azwj are distinguished by uniqueness and eternal existence. You-azwj are the Mighty, the Exalted, adorned with Glory! Lord-azwj, for You-azwj is the Praise! No place can conceal itself from You-azwj, and no time can alter You-azwj. You-azwj have Distinguished with Your-azwj Kindness, split with Your-azwj Power, illuminated the darkness with Your-azwj Generosity, and Made the rivers flow
