of Thursday – Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘One who prays six Cycles on the night of Thursday, reciting in each Cycle Surah Al Fatiha, and Ayat Al Kursy, and Al Kafiroun, once, once, and Al Tawheed three times, so when he has performed Salaam, he should recite Ayat Al Kursy three times, if he was written as a wretch with Allah-azwj, Allah-azwj will Dispatch an Angel to delete his wretchedness and write him as fortunate in its place, and that is His-azwj Word: Allah Deletes and Affirms whatever He so Desires to, and with Him is the Mother of the Book [13: 39]’’. [61]
Another Salat for the night of Thursday – It is reported by Ibn Masoud, from the Prophet-saww having said: ‘One who prays two Cycles on the night of Thursday between Al-Maghrib and Al-Isha (Salat), reciting in each Cycle Surah Al Fatiha one hundred times’ (and it is narrated, one time), and Ayat Al Kursy five times, and Al Kafiroun and Al Tawheed and Al Mawazateyn, each one of these fifteen times, so when he is free from his salat, he should seek Forgiveness of Allah-azwj the Exalted fifteen times, and makes its Rewards for his parent, so he has fulfilled the right of his parents, and he should say, ‘O Allah-azwj! Make its Rewards for my parents! ’
When he does that, he has fulfilled its rights, and Allah-azwj will Give him what He-azwj Gives the martyrs, and when he passed upon the Bridge there would be an Angel on his right, and an Angel on his left, and they would escort him from his front with the exclamations of Takbeer, and extollations of the Oneness, until he enters the Paradise. And he will descend in a white dome where is a house of green emeralds. The vastness of that house is like vastness of a city in the world seven times. In each house there is a throne of light. The legs of that throne are of grey ambergris. Upon that throne are a thousand beds of saffron. Above that bed is a Hourie of light. Upon her are seventy thousand garments of light. The light of her body can be seen through that garment. Upon her head are forelocks plaited with the gems and the sapphire. When she smiles at her husband, a light emerges from her mouth, the people of Paradise will marvel at that until they say, ‘What is this light? Perhaps the Glorious Creator has Emerged unto us! ’ There will be a call from above them: ‘O people of Paradise! A slave girl of so and so has smiled at her husband in her house! ’
At the top of each forelock would be a chain of gold, its filling being of musk and ambergris. When she mover her head, sounds will emerge from the midst of the chain not resembling each other. Upon her head is a crown of light. Her fingers will be adorned with rings. Allah-azwj will Give this Reward to the one who prays this Salat and makes its Rewards to be for his parents, and for him would be similar to that and nothing will be reduced from his Recompense, and ten million Salat(s) would be written for him for each Cycle of Salat, and Allah-azwj will Give him a light for every hair upon his body. This is a Reward of Allah-azwj for His‑azwj friends’’.
