Hadith 5

of the months is Ramazan. In the era of Rasool-Allah-saww it was named as ‘Al-Marzouk’’. [4]
And from him, by this chain, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Al Hassan his brother, from Zur’a, from Sama’at who said, ‘He-asws said to me: ‘Pray Salat during the night of 21st, and night of 23rd from a month of Ramazan, in each of these, if you are strong upon that, one hundred units, other than the thirteen, and stay awake in these until morning, for that is recommended that one should be Salat and supplication and beseeching, for it is hoped that it could be Laylat Al-Qadr, The Night of Pre-determination is better than a thousand months [97: 3]’. I said to him-asws, ‘How is it better than a thousand months? ’
He-asws said: ‘The deed in it is better than the deed in a thousand month not having Laylat Qadr in them, and it happens to be in Ramazan, and During it, every wise matter is made distinct [44: 4]’. I said, ‘And How is that so? ’
He-asws said: ‘What would be happening during the year, and during it the delegations to Makkah (for Hajj) are written’’. [5]
And from him, by this chain, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Ibn Bukeyr, from Zurara, ‘From Abu Ja’far-asws, he (the narrator) said, ‘I asked him-asws about Laylat Al-Qadr. He-asws said: ‘It is either in 21st or 23rd’. I said, ‘Isn’t is rather one night? ’
He-asws said: ‘Yes’. I said, ‘So inform me with it! ’
He-asws said: ‘And what is upon you if you were to do good in two night? ’’[6]
And from him, from Ahmad Bin Ubdoun, from Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Al Zubeyr, from Ali Bin Al-Hassan Bin Fazzal, from Al Abbas Bin Aamir, from Ahmad Bin Rizq Al Gumshan, from Yahya Bin Al A’ala who said, ‘Abu Abdullah-asws was ill in Al Medina. He-asws instructed, so he-asws was taken out to Masjid of Rasool-Allah-saww. He-asws was in it until morning on the night of 23rd of a month of Ramazan’’. [7]
