Hadith 47

And from him, by this chain, from Ibn Wahban, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad Bin Zakariya, from Al-Hassan Bin Ali Bin Fazzal, from Ali Bin Uqba, from Abu Kahmas, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws, he (the narrator) said, ‘I said to him-asws, ‘Which of the deeds is the most superior after the recognition (of Al-Wilayah)? ’
He-asws said: ‘There is nothing after the recognition (of Al-Wilayah) that equates to the Salat, nor after the recognition and the Salat is there anything equal to the Zakat, nor after that, is there anything equal to the Fasting, nor after that there is anything equal to the Hajj, and the beginning of all of that (Salat, Zakat, Fasting, Hajj) is our-asws recognition and its ending is our-asws recognition (Al-Wilayah)! And there is nothing after that honouring the brethren and the consoling with spending the Dinar and the Dirham, for these two are polished stones. Allah-azwj Tests His-azwj creatures with these, after which I-asws have counted for you, and I-asws have not seen anything of quicker riches nor more negating of the poverty and be persistent upon the Hajj of this House! And an obligatory Salat equates in the Presence of Allah-azwj to a thousand Hajj and a thousand Umrah, accomplished, Accepted; and the Hajj in His-azwj Presence is better than a house filled with gold! No, but better than the world filled with gold and silver spent in the way of Allah‑azwj Mighty and Majestic! ’ – the Hadeeth’’. [46]
