be attributed to differences in individuals, their deeds and the level of fear and distance involved, whether little or great. Every good deed carries a varying Reward based on the degree of sincerity, and knowledge, and piety, and other conditions that ensure the perfection of the act. Moreover, many narrations indicate that the Imams-asws would consider the state of the questioner, whether their faith was weak or strong, to prevent them from rejecting or disbelieving the teaching. They-asws would speak to people according to their level of understanding. I say, ‘I found in the handwriting of the Sheykh Muhammad Bin Ali Al Jufy, copying from the handwriting of the Sheykh, may Allah-azwj Raise his rank, copying from ‘Misbah’ of the Sheykh Abu Mansour, may his impact be good, said, ‘It is reported that one day the Prophet-saww entered to see Fatima-asws. She-asws prepared a meal him-saww from dates and bread and butter. They-asws gathered upon the eating, he-saww and Ali-asws, and Fatima-asws, and Al-Hassan-asws and Al-Husayn-asws. When they-asws had eaten, Rasool Allah-saww performed Sajdah and prolonged his-saww Sajdah, then he-saww wept, then smiled, then sat upright. And their-asws boldest in the talking was Ali-asws. He-asws said: ‘O Rasool Allah-saww! Today we-asws have seen from you-saww what we-asws have not seen before that! ’
He-saww said: ‘When I-saww ate with you-asws all, I-saww was happy and cheered with your-asws well-being and your-asws togetherness, so I-saww did Sajdah to Allah-azwj the Exalted of appreciation. Jibraeel-as came down saying: ‘You-saww have performed Sajdah of thanks due to your-saww happiness with your-saww family-asws? ’
I-saww said: ‘Yes’. He-as said: ‘Shall I-as inform you-saww with what will be flowing upon them-asws after you-saww! ’
I-saww said: ‘Yes my-saww brother-as, O Jibraeel-as! ’
He-as said: ‘As for your-saww daughter-asws, she-asws will be the first of your-saww family-asws to join with you-saww after being oppressed, and her-asws rights taken, and her-asws inheritance prevented, and her-asws husband oppressed, and her-asws ribs broken! And as for the son-asws of your-saww uncle-as, he-asws will be oppressed, and his-asws rights will be prevented, and he-asws will be killed! And as for Al-Hassan-asws, he-asws will be oppressed, and his-asws rights will be prevented, and he-asws will be killed by the poison! And as for Al-Husayn-asws, he-asws will be oppressed, and his-asws rights will be prevented, and his-asws family members will be killed, and the horses will trample him-asws, and his-asws belongings will be plundered, and his-asws womenfolk and his-asws offspring will be made captive, and he-asws will be buried covered in his-asws blood, and the strangers will bury him-asws! ’
I-saww wept and said: ‘And will anyone visit him-asws? ’
He-as said: ‘The strangers will visit him-asws’. I said, ‘What Rewards will there be for the one who visits him-asws? ’
He-saww said: ‘There shall be written for him Rewards of a thousand Hajj and a thousand Umrah, all of these being with you-saww! ’ So I-saww smiled’’. [196]
