That Which Should be Recited Before Eating from the Dust of the Grave of Ĥusain — Hadith 1

1. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Muḥammad ibn ‘Isā ibn ‘Ubayd, from Muḥammad ibn Ismā’īl Al-Basri, from some of his scholars, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a. s. )) said: The clay of the grave of Ḥusain (a. s. ) is a cure for every disease. When you eat it, recite (the following): (I start) in the name of Allāh and by Allāh. O Allāh! Make it (the cause of) extensive sustenance and beneficial knowledge (for me) and make it my cure from every disease. Verily You have power over all things.
