The Reward for the Ziyārah of Ĥusain on the Day of ‘Arafah — Hadith 3

3. My father, ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain, and Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan all narrated to me from Sa’d (ibn ‘Abdillāh), from Haytham ibn Abī Masrūq Al-Nahdi, from ‘Ali ibn Asbāť, from some of our companions, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a. s. )) said, “On the eve of ‘Arafah, Allāh, the Blessed and the Exalted, looks at the Zuwwār of the grave of Ḥusain (a. s. ) first. ” I asked, “Even before looking at the people who are in ‘Arafāt? ” Imam (a. s. ) replied, “Yes. ” I asked, “Why is that? ” Imam (a. s. ) replied, “Because there are people who are conceived illegitimately among those who are in ‘Arafāt but there are not any illegitimately conceived people among the Zuwwār of Ḥusain (a. s. ). ”
