The Ziyārah of Ĥusain Erases Sins — Hadith 4

4. My father narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Abī ‘Abdillāh Al-Jāmūrāni Al-Rāzi, from Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Abī Ḥamzah, from Ḥasan ibn Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdil Karīm, from Mufaďďal ibn ‘Umar, from Jābir Al-Ju’fi, who said: Abū ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a. s. )) said – as part of a longer Ḥadīth: And when you (decide to) return from the grave of Ḥusain (a. s. ), a caller will call out to you. If you (could) hear that call, you would stay next to the grave of Ḥusain (a. s. ) for the rest of your life. The caller will say, “Bliss be for you, O slave (of Allāh)! Surely you have won and you are safe. Surely your past sins have been forgiven. Therefore, continue with good deeds. ”
