شا، الإرشاد رَوَى إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْعَمِّيُّ عَنْ نَائِلِ بْنِ نَجِيحٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ع قَالَ: انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ نَعْلِ النَّبِيِّ ص فَدَفَعَهَا إِلَى عَلِيٍّ ع يُصْلِحُهَا ثُمَّ مَشَى فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ غَلْوَةً أَوْ نَحْوَهَا وَ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ وَ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُقَاتِلُ عَلَى التَّأْوِيلِ كَمَا قَاتَلَ مَعِي عَلَى التَّنْزِيلِ
فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَنَا ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ لَا فَقَالَ عُمَرُ أَنَا ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا
فَأَمْسَكَ الْقَوْمُ وَ نَظَرَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص وَ لَكِنَّهُ خَاصِفُ النَّعْلِ وَ أَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ ع وَ إِنَّهُ يُقَاتِلُ عَلَى التَّأْوِيلِ إِذَا تُرِكَتْ سُنَّتِي وَ نُبِذَتْ وَ حُرِّفَ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ وَ تَكَلَّمَ فِي الدِّينِ مَنْ لَيْسَ لَهُ فِي ذَلِكَ فَيُقَاتِلُهُمْ عَلِيٌّ عَلَى إِحْيَاءِ دِينِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى.
(The book) ‘Al Irshad’ – It is reported by Ismail Bin Ali Al Ammy, from Na’il Bin Najeeh, from Amro Bin Shimr, from Jabir Bin Yazeed, ‘From Abu Ja’far Muhammad-asws Bin Ali-asws, from his-asws father-asws having said: ‘A trap of a slipper of the Prophet-saww broke, so he-saww handed it to Ali-asws to correct it, then he-saww walked around lively or around it, and his-saww companions came, and he-saww said: ‘From you all there is one who will fight upon the interpretation just as he-asws fights alongside me-asws upon the Revelation’. Abu Bakr said, ‘Am I that, O Rasool-Allah-saww? ’ He-saww said: ‘No’. Umar said, ‘Am I that, O Rasool-Allah-saww? ’ He-saww said: ‘No’. The people were silent and some of them looked at others. Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘But he-asws is repairer of the slipper’, and gestured towards Ali-asws, and he-asws will fight upon the interpretation, when my-saww Sunnah would be neglected, and discarded, and the Book of Allah-azwj would be alerted, and he will speak regarding the religion, one who that isn’t for him (to do so). So, Ali-asws will fight upon reviving religion of Allah-azwj the Exalted’’. [140]
