And Ali-asws was with the greatest of the pains from the people on that day, and Ali-asws did not used to equate anyone of the people with (tribe of) Rabie. Abu Al-Tufay Aamir Bin Waasila, and Umeyr Bin Utarid, and Qabeesa Bin Jabir, and Abdullah Bin Al-Tufayl stood up among faces of their tribes and came to Ali-asws. Abu Al Tufay spoke. He said, ‘By Allah-azwj, O Amir Al-Momineen-asws! we do not envy any people Allah-azwj has Specialised them with goodness from you-asws, and this tribe from Rabie, they are foremost with you-asws than we are. You-asws excused them from the fighting for days, and you-asws made a day to be for every person from us we should be fighting in. So, when we gather, we suspect our scourge to be upon you-asws’. He-asws said: ‘Yes, I-asws shall give you what you are seeking’. And he-asws instructed Rabie to refrain from the fighting, and they were toward the right from the rows of Syria. The next morning Abu Al-Tufeyl went among his people from Jiana, and they are a large community. He advanced in front of the cavalry and fought a severe battle, then left to go to Ali-asws, and he-asws praised goodly upon him.
