أَقُولُ رَوَى ابْنُ شِيرَوَيْهِ فِي الْفِرْدَوْسِ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْفَارِسِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ص قَالَ: خُلِقْتُ أَنَا وَ عَلِيٌّ مِنْ نُورٍ وَاحِدٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ اللَّهُ آدَمَ بِأَرْبَعَةِ آلَافِ عَامٍ فَلَمَّا خُلِقَ آدَمُ رُكِّبَ ذَلِكَ النُّورُ فِي صُلْبِهِ فَلَمْ نَزَلْ فِي شَيْءٍ وَاحِدٍ حَتَّى افْتَرَقْنَا فِي صُلْبِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ فَفِيَّ النُّبُوَّةُ وَ فِي عَلِيٍّ الْخِلَافَةُ.
I (Majlisi) am saying, ‘It is reported by Ibn Sheyrawiya in (the book) ‘Al Firdows’, ‘From Salman Al-Farsi-ra, from the Prophet-saww having said: ‘I-saww and Ali-asws were Created from one Noor before Allah-azwj Created Adam-as by four thousand years. When Adam-as was Created, that Noor was installed into his-as Sulb. So, we-asws did not cease to be in one thing until we-asws separated in the Sulb of Abdul Muttalib-asws. So, in me-saww is the Prophet-hood and in Ali-asws is the caliphate’’. [137]
