لَتْ نَعَمْ يَا أَبَهْ قَالَ أَ فَلَا أَزِيدُكِ فِي بَعْلِكِ وَ ابْنِ عَمِّكِ مِنْ مَزِيدِ الْخَيْرِ وَ فَوَاضِلِهِ قَالَتْ بَلَى يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ
قَالَ إِنَّ عَلِيّاً أَوَّلُ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ رَسُولِهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ هُوَ وَ خَدِيجَةُ أُمُّكِ وَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ وَازَرَنِي عَلَى مَا جِئْتُ بِهِ
يَا فَاطِمَةُ إِنَّ عَلِيّاً أَخِي وَ صَفِيِّي وَ أَبُو وُلْدِي إِنَّ عَلِيّاً أُعْطِيَ خِصَالًا مِنَ الْخَيْرِ لَمْ يُعْطَهَا أَحَدٌ قَبْلَهُ وَ لَا يُعْطَاهَا أَحَدٌ بَعْدَهُ فَأَحْسِنِي عَزَاكِ وَ اعْلَمِي أَنَّ أَبَاكِ لَاحِقٌ بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ
قَالَتْ يَا أَبَهْ قَدْ سَرَرْتَنِي وَ أَحْزَنْتَنِي قَالَ كَذَلِكِ يَا بُنَيَّةِ أُمُورُ الدُّنْيَا يَشُوبُ سُرُورُهَا حُزْنَهَا وَ صَفْوُهَا كَدِرَهَا أَ فَلَا أَزِيدُكِ يَا بُنَيَّةِ قَالَتْ بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى خَلَقَ الْخَلْقَ فَجَعَلَهُمْ قِسْمَيْنِ فَجَعَلَنِي وَ عَلِيّاً فِي خَيْرِهِمَا قِسْماً وَ ذَلِكِ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى وَ أَصْحابُ الْيَمِينِ ما أَصْحابُ الْيَمِينِ
ثُمَّ جَعَلَ الْقِسْمَيْنِ قَبَائِلَ فَجَعَلَنَا فِي خَيْرِهَا قَبِيلَةً وَ ذَلِكِ قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ وَ جَعَلْناكُمْ شُعُوباً وَ قَبائِلَ لِتَعارَفُوا إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقاكُمْ
ثُمَّ جَعَلَ القَبَائِلَ بُيُوتاً فَجَعَلَنَا فِي خَيْرِهَا بَيْتاً فِي قَوْلِهِ سُبْحَانَهُ إِنَّما يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَ يُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيراً
ثُمَّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى اخْتَارَنِي مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي وَ اخْتَارَ عَلِيّاً وَ الْحَسَنَ وَ الْحُسَيْنَ وَ اخْتَارَكِ فَأَنَا سَيِّدُ وُلْدِ آدَمَ وَ عَلِيٌّ سَيِّدُ الْعَرَبِ وَ أَنْتِ سَيِّدَةُ النِّسَاءِ وَ الْحَسَنُ وَ الْحُسَيْنُ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِكِ الْمَهْدِيُ يَمْلَأُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بِهِ الْأَرْضَ عَدْلًا كَمَا مُلِئَتْ عَنْ قَبْلِهِ جَوْراً.

He-saww said: ‘Ali-asws is the first one to believe in Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic and His-azwj Rasool-saww, from this community, he-asws and Khadeeja-asws, your-asws mother-as, and the first one to support me-saww what I-saww had come with. O Fatima-asws! Ali-asws is my-saww brother-asws, and father-asws of my-saww two (grand) sons-asws. Ali-asws has been Given such characteristics of goodness, no one before him-asws has been Given these, nor will anyone after him-asws be Given these. So, better your-asws consolation and know that your-asws father-saww is to meet with Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic’. She-asws said: ‘O father-saww! You-saww have cheered me-asws and saddened me-asws’. He-saww said: ‘O daughter-asws! Like that are the affairs of the world. Its happiness is mixed with its grief, and its cleanliness with its filth. Shall I-saww increase for you-asws, O daughter-asws? ’ She-asws said: ‘Yes, O Rasool-Allah-saww! ’
He-saww said: ‘Allah-azwj the Exalted Created the creatures and Made them as two sections. He-azwj Made me-saww and Ali-asws to be in their better one, and that is the Word of the Exalted: And the Companions of the right hand – what are the Companions of the right hand? [56: 27]. Then He-azwj Made the two sections into tribes and Made us-asws in their best tribe, and that is the Word of the Mighty and Majestic: We Created you from a male and a female and Made you as nations and tribes in order to recognise each other. Surely, the most honourable of you in the Presence of Allah is the most pious of you. [49: 13]. Then He-azwj Made the tribes as households, and Made us-asws to be in their best Household, in His-azwj Words, the Glorious: But rather, Allah Intends to Keep the uncleanness away from you, People of the Household, and Purify you (with) a Purification [33: 33]. Then Allah-azwj the Exalted Chose me-saww from my-saww family members, and Chose Ali-asws, and Al-Hassan-asws and Al-Husayn-asws. So, I-saww am chief of the children of Adam-as, and Ali-asws is chief of the Arabs, and you-asws are chieftess of the women, and Al-Hassan-asws and Al-Husayn-asws are two chiefs of the youths of the people of Paradise, and from your-asws offspring is Al-Mahdi-asws. Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic will Fill the earth through with justice through him-asws, like it would have been filled with tyranny from before it’’. [122]
