Tafseer Furaat Bin Ibrahim – Ubeyd Bin Kaseer, transmitting form Abu Saeed Al Khudry who said, ‘One day Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws woke up in the morning hungry. He-asws said: ‘O Fatima-asws! Is there anything with you-asws to provide (to eat)? ’
She-asws said: ‘No. By the One-azwj Who Honoured my-asws father-saww with the Prophet-hood, and Honoured you-asws with the successorship, there is nothing with me-asws this morning, and whatever I-asws have been feeding for two days was only something I-asws used to prefer you-asws with it over myself-asws and over these two sons-asws of mine-asws, Al-Hassan-asws was Al-Husayn-asws’. He-asws said: ‘O Fatima-asws! Why didn’t you-asws let me-asws know, so I-asws could have bought something? ’ She-asws said: ‘O Abu Al-Hassan-asws! I-asws was embarrassed from my-asws God-azwj to encumber your-asws sould what you-asws are not able upon’. Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws from the presence of (Syeda) Fatima-asws, may the greetings be upon her-asws, trusting Allah-azwj with goodly thoughts. He-asws borrowed a Dinar. While the Dinar was in a hand of Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws intending to buy for his-asws dependants who would correct them, Al-Miqdad Bin Al-Aswad-ra presented to him-asws during a day of severe heat. The sun had scorched him-ra from above him-ra, and hurt him-asws from beneath him-ra. When Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws saw him-ra, he-asws did not like his-asws situation, so he-asws said: ‘O Miqdad-ra! What bothered you-ra to make a journey at this time? ’ He-ra said, ‘O Abu Al-Hassan-asws! Free my-ra way and do not ask me-ra about what is behind me-ra’. He-asws said: ‘O my-asws brother-ra! There is no leeway for me-asws that you-ra should cross past me-asws until I-asws know what you-ra know’. He-ra said, ‘O Abu Al-Hassan-asws! I-asws wish to Allah-azwj and to you-asws that you-asws free my-ra way and do not uncover my situation’. He-asws said to him-ra: ‘O my-asws brother-ra! There is no leeway for you-ra that you-ra conceal your-ra situation from me-asws’. He-ra said, ‘O Abu Al-Hassan-asws! But when you-asws are refusing, so by Allah-azwj Who Honoured Muhammad-saww with the Prophet-hood and Honoured you-asws with the successorship! Nothing bothered me-ra from undertaking my-ra journey except the struggle, and I-ra have left my-ra dependants clenching with hunger. So, when I-ra heard the crying of the dependants, the ground could not carry me-asws. I-ra came out with worried riding in my-ra head. This is my-ra situation and my-ra story’. The eyes of Ali-asws filled up with the weeping until his-asws tears dampened his-asws beard. He-asws said to him-ra: ‘I-asws swear by the One-azwj Whom you-ra swore by! Nothing bothered me-asws except that which bothered you-ra from coming out. I-asws have borrowed a Dinar, so I-asws shall prefer you-ra over myself-asws’. He-asws handed the Dinar to him-ra and returned until he-asws entered the Masjid of the Prophet-saww. He-asws prayed Al-Zohr in it, and Al-Asr, and Al-Maghrib. When Rasool-Allah-saww had fulfilled Al-Maghrib Salat, he-saww passed by Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws, and he-asws was in the first row. He-saww pressed him-asws with his-saww leg. Ali-asws stood up following behind Rasool-Allah-saww until he-asws met him-saww at a door from the doors of the Masjid. He-asws greeted unto him-saww, so Rasool-Allah-saww responded th
