(The book) ‘Al Manaqib’ of Ibn Shehr Ashub – Sufyan Bin Uyayna who said, ‘Ali-asws Bin Al-Husayn-asws was not seen at all with his-asws hands exceeding his-asws thigh while he-asws was walking’’. [226]
Abdullah Bin Muskan, ‘From Ali-asws Bin Al-Husayn-asws, he-asws used to call his-asws (female) servants every month and was saying: ‘I-asws have become old and am not able upon the women, so the one who wants to get married, I will get her married, or the selling, I-asws shall sell her, or the liberation, I-asws shall liberate her’. So when one of them said, no, he-asws said: ‘O Allah-azwj! Be Witness! ’ Until he-asws had said it thrice. And if one of them was silent, he-asws said to his-asws womenfolk: ‘Ask her! ‘What do you want? ’’ And he-asws would act upon her wishes’’. [227]
