Bihar al-Anwar · Allamah al-Majlisi
وَ مِنْهُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ الْعِجْلِيِّ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع أَيَّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ مَوْضِعُ الْبَيْتِ حَيْثُ كَانَ الْمَاءُ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ وَ كانَ عَرْشُهُ عَلَى الْماءِ قَالَ كَانَتْ مَهَاةً بَيْضَاءَ يَعْنِي دُرَّةً.
And from him, from Muhammad Bin Imran Al Ijaly who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah-asws, ‘Which thing was the place of the House (Kabah) when it was the water, in the Words of Mighty and Majestic: and His Throne was upon the water [11: 7]? ’ He-asws said: ‘It was white ‘Mahat’, meaning a jewel’’. [82]
