الْعِلَلُ، لِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: عِلَّةُ فَضْلِ اللَّيْلِ عَلَى النَّهَارِ أَنَّ بِاللَّيْلِ يَكُونُ الْبَيَاتُ وَ يُرْفَعُ الْعَذَابُ وَ تَقِلُّ الْمَعَاصِي وَ فِيهِ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ الَّتِي هِيَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ.
(The book) ‘Al Illal’ of Muhammad Bin Ali Bin Ibrahim who said, ‘The reason for the merit of the night over the day is that the sleep takes place at night, and the Punishment is Raised, and the (acts of) disobedience are scarce, and among it is Laylat Al-Qadr which is better than a thousand months’’.
