وَ قَالَ الصَّادِقُ ع دَاوُوا مَرْضَاكُمْ بِالصَّدَقَةِ وَ مَا عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ بِقُوتِ يَوْمِهِ إِنَّ مَلَكَ الْمَوْتِ يُدْفَعُ إِلَيْهِ الصَّكُّ بِقَبْضِ رُوحِ الْعَبْدِ فَيَتَصَدَّقُ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ رُدَّ الصَّكَّ.
And Al-Sadiq-asws said: ‘Cure your patients with the charity, and what is upon one of you that he should give charity with the subsistence of his day. The Angel of death, the instruction note is given to him-as for capturing the soul of a servant. He gives charity, so it is said to him-as: ‘Return the note! ’’[82]
