وَ رُوِيَ فِي زَبُورِ دَاوُدَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى ابْنَ آدَمَ تَسْأَلُنِي فَأَمْنَعُكَ لِعِلْمِي بِمَا يَنْفَعُكَ ثُمَّ تُلِحُّ عَلَيَّ بِالْمَسْأَلَةِ فَأُعْطِيكَ مَا سَأَلْتَ فَتَسْتَعِينُ بِهِ عَلَى مَعْصِيَتِي فَأَهُمُّ بِهَتْكِ سِتْرِكَ فَتَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتُرُ عَلَيْكَ
فَكَمْ مِنْ جَمِيلٍ أَصْنَعُ مَعَكَ وَ كَمْ قُبْحٍ تَصْنَعُ مَعِي يُوشِكُ أَنْ أَغْضَبَ عَلَيْكَ غَضْبَةً لَا أَرْضَى بَعْدَهَا أَبَداً-
وَ مِنَ الْإِنْجِيلِ ألا [لَا] تَدِينُوا وَ أَنْتُمْ خطاء [خُطَاةٌ] فَيُدَانَ مِنْكُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ- لَا تَحْكُمُوا بِالْجَوْرِ فَيُحْكَمَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ بِالْمِكْيَالِ الَّذِي تَكِيلُونَ يُكَالُ لَكُمْ وَ بِالْحُكْمِ الَّذِي تَحْكُمُونَ يُحْكَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ-
وَ مِنَ الْإِنْجِيلِ أَيْضاً احْذَرُوا الْكَذَّابَةَ الَّذِينَ يَأْتُونَكُمْ بِلِبَاسِ الْحُمْلَانِ فَهُمْ فِي الْحَقِيقَةِ ذِئَابٌ خَاطِفَةٌ مِنْ ثِمَارِهِمْ تَعْرِفُونَهُمْ-
لَا يُمْكِنُ الشَّجَرَةَ الطَّيِّبَةَ أَنْ تُثْمِرَ ثِمَاراً رَدِيَّةً وَ لَا الشَّجَرَةَ الرَّدِيَّةَ أَنْ تُثْمِرَ ثِمَاراً صَالِحَةً.
And it is reported in the Psalms of Dawood-as, Allah-azwj the Exalted Says: “Son of Adam-as! You ask Me-azwj, but I-azwj Refuse you due to My-azwj Knowledge with what is beneficial to you. Then you insist upon Me-azwj with the asking, so I-azwj Give you what you ask for, but you assist by it upon disobeying Me-azwj. I-azwj Consider tearing your veil, but you supplicate to Me-azwj, so I-azwj Cover upon you. How many a beautiful things I-azwj have Done with you, and how many an ugliness you have done with Me-azwj, I-azwj was about to be Wrathful upon you with such a Wrath I-azwj would not have been Pleased after it, ever! ”
And from the Evangel: “Indeed! Do not judge while you are erroneous (sinner), for the Punishment will draw closer to you. Do not judge with the tyranny lest you be Judged with the Punishment – by the measurement which you are measuring your measurements, and with the decisions which you are deciding, it will be Decided upon you! ”
And from the Evangel as well: “Be cautioned of the liars, those who are coming to you in sheep’s clothing, for they are wolves in reality. You will recognise them from the snatching of their fruits. It is not possible for the good tree to be bearing bad fruit, nor a bad tree to be bearing healthy fruit’’. [14]
