Hadith 76

e beginning and the end-result! You-azwj my God-azwj, are Forbearing, Able, Kind, Forgiving, and King of the subduers, and Sustainer, Originator, Responder, Hearing! The forelocks of the servants are in Your-azwj Hand and areas of the land! Living, Eternal, Generous, Glorious, Merciful, Benevolent! You-azwj my God-azwj, are the King Who rule the kings, so the mighty ones are humbled to Your‑azwj Awe, and the close ones stoop to You-azwj with the obedience, and You-azwj Surround the Glory and the Praise with Your-azwj Divinity, Preservation of Your-azwj Creation does not fatigue You-azwj, nor does Your-azwj Generousity diminish by You-azwj Giving the vastness of Your‑azwj sustenance! And You-azwj are Knower of the hidden matters. You-azwj Veiled upon my faults and Enumerated my sins upon me, and You-azwj Honoured me by my recognising Your-azwj religion, and You-azwj did not Tear down from me the beauty of Your-azwj Veil, O Affectionate, and You-azwj did not Expose me! O Bestower! I ask You-azwj to Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, and Expand upon me from Your-azwj Grace, the vastness of Your-azwj sustenance, Permissible, good, wholesome, pleasurable by pouring and pouring! And I ask You-azwj, O my God-azwj, for safety from Your-azwj Punishment, and I ask You-azwj for abundance of Your-azwj bounties, and Your-azwj constant well-being, and loving being in obedience to You-azwj, and shunning disobedience to You-azwj, and entering Your-azwj Paradise! You-azwj Delete whatever You-azwj Desire and Affirm, and in Your-azwj Possession is Mother of the Book! My God-azwj! If I have committed such sins which have formed a barrier between me and You‑azwj due to my perpetrating these, so You-azwj are rightful to be Generous upon me with vastness of Your-azwj Mercy, and Save from the pain of Your-azwj Punishment, and Ascend me to the ranks of the honourable ones, and Join me with the righteous ones, O my Master-azwj, along with those, Those whom the Angels cause to die in a good state saying: ‘Peace be upon you! Enter the Paradise due to what you had been doing’ [16: 32], with Your Pardon and Your-azwj Protection! O the Kind, O the Merciful, O Lord-azwj! I ask You-azwj to Send the Salawaat upon Muhammad‑saww and his-saww Progeny-asws, and to Carry on my behalf the obligatory rights of the fathers and the mothers, and Fulfil their rights on my behalf, and Join me with them with the righteous ones, and the brothers and the sisters, and the believing men and the believing women, and Forgive for me and for them entirely, surely You-azwj are near, Responder! And may Allah-azwj Send Salawaat upon the Prophet-saww Muhammad-saww and his-saww Progeny-asws in their entirety! ’’[37]
