الْمُتَهَجِّدُ، وَ الْبَلَدُ، وَ الْإِخْتِيَارُ، وَ كَانَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع يُتْبِعُ هَذَا الدُّعَاءَ بِهَذِهِ الْكَلِمَاتِ يَا عُدَّتِي عِنْدَ كُرْبَتِي وَ يَا غِيَاثِي عِنْدَ شِدَّتِي يَا وَلِيَّ نِعْمَتِي يَا مُنْجِحِي فِي حَاجَتِي يَا مَفْزَعِي فِي وَرْطَتِي يَا مُنْقِذِي مِنْ هَلَكَتِي يَا كَالِئِي فِي وَحْدَتِي
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطِيئَتِي وَ يَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَ اجْمَعْ لِي شَمْلِي وَ أَنْجِحْ لِي طَلِبَتِي وَ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي وَ اكْفِنِي مَا أَهَمَّنِي وَ اجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ أَمْرِي فَرَجاً وَ مَخْرَجاً وَ لَا تُفَرِّقْ بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَ الْعَافِيَةِ أَبَداً مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي وَ عِنْدَ وَفَاتِي إِذَا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
(The books) ‘Al Mutahajjid’, and ‘Al Balad’, and ‘Al Ikhtiyar’ –
‘And Amir Al-Momineen-asws had followed up this supplication with these phrases: ‘O my weapon during my distress, and O my Help during my adversity, O in Charge of the bounties, O my Success regarding my needs, O my Forgiveness in my predicament, O my Saviour from my destruction, O my Comfort in my loneliness! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, and Forgive my sins for me, and Ease my matters for me, and Gather my family for me, and Make my seeking successful, and Rectify my occupation for me, and Suffice me of what worries me, and Make a relief and an outlet for me from my affairs, and do not Separate between me and the well-being, ever, for as long as You-azwj Cause me to remain, and at my expiry when You-azwj Cause me to expire, O most Merciful of the merciful ones! ’’[104]
