(The book) ‘Majaalis’ of Al Sadouq – from Muhammad Bin Ibrahim Bin Is’haq Al Talaqany, from Ibn Uqdah, from Al Munzir Bin Muhammad, from Ismail Bin Abdullah Al Kufi, from his father, from Abdullah Bin Al Fazl who said, ‘Al-Sadiq-asws said to one of his-asws companions: ‘Whenever it is the night of (Eid) Al-Fitr, pray Al-Maghrib, three (Cycles), then perform Sajdah and say in your Sajdah, ‘O with the Leniency! O with the Might! O Chooser of Muhammad-saww and his-saww Helper! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, and Forgive for me every sin I have sinned and forgotten it, and it is with You-azwj in the Clarifying Book! ’
Then say one hundred times, ‘I repent to Allah-azwj’, and exclaim Takbeer after Al-Maghrib and Al-Isha the last, and the morning Salat, and the Eid Salat just as You-azwj exclaim Takbeer in the days of Al-Tashreeq (11th to 13th Zilhajj) saying, ‘Allah-azwj is Greatest! Allah-azwj is Greatest! There is no god except Allah-azwj and Allah-azwj is Greatest! Allah-azwj is Greatest, and for Allah‑azwj is the Praise! Allah-azwj is Greatest upon what He-azwj has Guided us, and the Praise is for Allah-azwj upon what He-azwj has Bestowed us! ’’
And do not say in it, ‘And Graced us from the beasts, the cattle’, for that is during the days of Al-Tashreeq’’. [46]
