لي، الأمالي للصدوق مع، معاني الأخبار فِي خَبَرِ الشَّيْخِ الشَّامِيِ قَالَ زَيْدُ بْنُ صُوحَانَ لِأَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع أَيُّ الْكَلَامِ أَفْضَلُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ
قَالَ كَثْرَةُ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَ التَّضَرُّعُ إِلَيْهِ وَ الدُّعَاءُ
قَالَ فَأَيُّ الْقَوْلِ أَصْدَقُ
قَالَ شَهَادَةُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ.
(The books) ‘Al Amaali’ of Al Sadouq, (and) ‘Ma’any Al Akhbar’ in a Hadeeth by the Syrian sheykh. ‘Zayd Bin Sowhan said to Amir Al-Momineen-asws, ‘Which speech is most superior in the Presence of Allah-azwj? ’
He-asws said: ‘Frequent Zikr of Allah-azwj and the beseeching to Him-azwj, and the supplication’. He said, ‘Which of the word is most truthful? ’
He-asws said: ‘Testimony that there is no god except Allah-azwj’’. [43]
