ب، قرب الإسناد ابْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنِ الْأَزْدِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع حُمَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص فَأَتَاهُ جَبْرَئِيلُ فَعَوَّذَهُ فَقَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ وَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَشْفِيكَ وَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ يَعْنِيكَ وَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَ اللَّهُ شَافِيكَ وَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ خُذْهَا فَلْتَهْنِيكَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ فَلا أُقْسِمُ بِمَواقِعِ النُّجُومِ لَتَبْرَأَنَّ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ
قَالَ بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رُقْيَةِ الْحُمَّى فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهَا وَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رُقْيَةِ الْوَرَمِ وَ الْجِرَاحِ
فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع تَأْخُذُ سِكِّيناً ثُمَّ تُمِرُّهَا عَلَى الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي تَشْكُو مِنْ جُرْحٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ فَتَقُولُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنَ الْحَدِّ وَ الْحَدِيدِ وَ مِنْ أَثَرِ الْعُودِ وَ الْحَجَرِ الْمَلْبُودِ وَ مِنَ الْعِرْقِ الْفَاتِرِ وَ مِنَ الْوَرَمِ الْأَجَرِ وَ مِنَ الطَّعَامِ وَ عَقْرِهِ وَ مِنَ الشَّرَابِ وَ بَرْدِهِ
أَمْضِي إِلَيْكَ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى فِي الْإِنْسِ وَ الْأَنْعَامِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ فَتَحْتُ وَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَتَمْتُ ثُمَّ أَوْتِدِ السِّكِّينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ.
(The book) ‘Qurb Al Isnaad’ – Ibn Sa’ad, from Al Azdy who said, ‘Abu Abdullah-asws said: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww had fever, so Jibraeel-as came to him-saww. He-as sought Refuge for him-saww. He-as said: ‘In the Name of Allah-azwj, I-as perform Ruqya (incantation) on you-saww, O Muhammad-saww, and heal you-saww, and in the Name of Allah-azwj, from every illness concerning you-saww, and in the Name of Allah-azwj, and Allah-azwj is your-saww Healer, and in the Name of Allah-azwj, take it! Congratulations to you-saww! In the Name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful [1: 1] So do not swear by the locations of the stars! [56: 75]! ’ You-saww shall be cured by the Permission of Allah-azwj! ’
Bakr Bin Muhammad said, ‘I asked him-asws about a Ruqya (incantation) for the fever. He-asws narrated to me with it, and I ask him-asws about a Ruqya (incantation) for the abscess and the injury. Abu Abdullah-asws said: ‘Take a knife, the pass it upon the place which you are complaining of an injury or something else. Say, ‘In the Name of Allah-azwj! I perform Ruqya (incantation) on you from the sharpness, and the iron, and from impact of wood and the felted stone, and from a bursting vein, and from the blistering injury, and from the food and its choking, and from the drink and its bloating! I am continuing to you by the Permission of Allah-azwj to a specific period in the human beings and the animals! In the Name of Allah-azwj I have begun, and in the Name of Allah-azwj I have ended! ’ Then stick the knife into the ground’’. [192]
