لي، الأمالي للصدوق الْعَطَّارُ عَنْ سَعْدٍ عَنِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ عَنِ الْمِنْقَرِيِّ عَنْ حَفْصٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِلصَّادِقِ ع أَخْبِرْنِي عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- شَهْرُ رَمَضانَ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ كَيْفَ أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَ إِنَّمَا أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ فِي مُدَّةِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً أَوَّلُهُ وَ آخِرُهُ
فَقَالَ ع أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ الْمَعْمُورِ ثُمَّ أُنْزِلَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ الْمَعْمُورِ فِي مُدَّةِ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً.
(The book) ‘Al Amaali’ of Al Sadouq – Al Attar, from Sa’ad, from Al Asbahany, from Al Minqary, from Hafs who said, ‘I said to Al-Sadiq-asws, ‘Inform me about Words of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic: The Month of Ramazan is that in which the Quran was Revealed [2: 185], ‘How was the Quran Revealed during a month of Ramazan, and rather the Quran was Revealed during a period of twenty years, its beginning and its end? ’
He-asws said: ‘The Quran was Revealed as a whole during a month of Ramazan to Bayt Al-Mamour, then it was Revealed from Al-Bayt Al-Mamour during a period of twenty years’’. [29]
