Hadith 50

ok) ‘Basaair Al Darajaat’ – Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Ahwazy, from Al Nazr, from Al-Hassan Bin Musa, from Saeed Bin Yasaar who said, ‘I was in the presence of Al-Moalla Bin Khuneys when a messenger of Abu Abdullah-asws came. I said to him, ‘Ask him-asws about the Night of Pre-determination’. When he returned, I said to him, ‘Did you ask him-asws? ’ He said, ‘Yes, he-asws informed me with what I wanted and what I did not want. He-asws said: ‘Allah-azwj Ordain during it the determinations of that year, then He-azwj Casts it to the earth’. I said, ‘To Whom? ’ He-asws said: ‘To the one-asws you see, O frustrated one! ’ Or said: ‘O weak one! ’’[71]
(The book) ‘Basaair Al Darajaat’ – Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ali Bin Ismail, from Al-Hassan Bin Musa, from Moalla Bin Khuneys, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘Whenever it would be the Night of Pre-determination, Allah-azwj Writes during it what would be happening’. He (the narrator) said, ‘Then he-asws showed me it’. I said, ‘To whom? ’ He-asws said: ‘To the one-asws you see, O idiot! ’’[72]
(The book) ‘Basaair Al Darajaat’ – Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam or someone else, from Sayf Bin Ameyra, from Hassan, from Ibn Dawood, from Bureyda who said, ‘I was seated with Rasool-Allah-saww and Ali-asws was with him-asws, when he-saww said: ‘O Ali-asws! Did I-saww not keep you-asws as witness with me-saww in seven places? The fifth is the Night of Pre-determination. We-asws have been particularised with its Blessings. It isn’t for others’’. [73]
(The book) ‘Fiqh Al-Reza-asws’, may the greeting be upon him-asws – ‘Pray Salat during nights of 21st, and 23rd, one hundred units, reading in each unit Surah Al Fatiha one time and Surah Al Tawheed eleven times, and calculate thirty units from the one hundred. If you cannot endure that from standing, then pray Salat while you are seated, and if you like you can read in each unit, once, once Surah Al Tawheed, and if you are capable to revive (stay awake) these two night up to the morning, the do so, for in it are great merits, and salvation from the Hellfire, and there isn’t any greater vigil of two nights regarding what you are wishing for! ’’[74]
And it has been reported that the vigil during a month of Ramazan is in three nights – night of 19th regarding glorification (Tasbeeh) and supplication without Salat, and in these two nights frequent from Zikr of Allah-azwj Majestic and Mighty, and the Salawaat upon His-azw
