قب، المناقب لابن شهرآشوب دَعَا أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ فَأَعْطَاهُ رُمْحَهُ وَ قَالَ لَهُ اقْصِدْ بِهَذَا الرُّمْحِ قَصْدَ الْجَمَلِ
فَذَهَبَ فَمَنَعُوهُ بَنُو ضَبَّةَ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ إِلَى وَالِدِهِ انْتَزَعَ الْحَسَنُ رُمْحَهُ مِنْ يَدِهِ وَ قَصَدَ قَصْدَ الْجَمَلِ وَ طَعَنَهُ بِرُمْحِهِ وَ رَجَعَ إِلَى وَالِدِهِ وَ عَلَى رُمْحِهِ أَثَرُ الدَّمِ فَتَمَغَّرَ وَجْهُ مُحَمَّدٍ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَا تَأْنَفْ فَإِنَّهُ ابْنُ النَّبِيِّ وَ أَنْتَ ابْنُ عَلِيٍّ.
(The book) of Ibn Shehr Ashub – Amir Al-Momineen-asws called Muhammad Bin Al-Hanafiyya on the day of the camel and gave him his-asws spear and said to him: ‘Aim this spear at the camel’. He went, and the clan of Zabya prevented him. When he returned to his father-asws, Al-Hassan-asws snatched his spear from his hand and went aiming for the camel and stabbed with his-asws spear and returned to his-asws father-asws, and upon his-asws spear were traces of blood. The face of Muhammad reddened from that. Amir Al-Momineen-asws said: ‘Do not regret for he-asws is a son-asws of the Prophet-saww and you are a son of Ali-asws’’. [7]
