Hadith 156

(The book) ‘Al Amaali’ of the sheykh Al Tusi – Al Mufeed, from Umar Bin Muhammad Al Sayrafi, from Muhammad Bin Al Qasim, from Ja’far Bin Abdullah Al Muhammadi, from Yahya Bin Al Hassan Bin Furat, from Al Masoudy, from Al haris Bin Haseyra, from Abu Muhammad Al Anzy who said, ‘It is narrated to me by my cousin Abdullah Al Anzy who said, ‘I was sitting with Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws on the day of the camel when the people came yelling at him-asws, ‘O Amir Al-Momineen-asws! We are being shot at by the arrows and the cross-bows! ’ He-asws was silent. Then others came and they mentioned similar to that’. They said, ‘We are being injured’. Ali-asws said: ‘O people! Who can excuse me-asws from a people instructing me-asws with the fighting and the Angels have yet to descend? ’ Al-Anzy said, ‘We are sitting, and we have not seen any wind nor felt any goodness. When the wind descends from behind us, by Allah-azwj, a coolness would be found between the shoulders, from under the clothes’. He (the narrator) said, ‘When there was a gust (of wind), Amir Al-Momineen-asws put on his-asws armour then stood to the people. No victory was seen to be quicker than it’’. [31]
