(The book) ‘Al-Ihtijaj’ – It is narrated to me by the Seyyid, the scholar, the worshipper, Abu Ja’far Mahdi Bin Abu Harb Al-Husayni who said, ‘It is informed to us by the sheykh Abu Ali Al-Hassan Bin the sheykh Al Saeed Abu Ja’far Bin Al-Hassan Al Tusi who said, ‘It is informed to me by the sheykh Al Saeed Al Walid Abu Ja’far who said, ‘It is informed to me by a group, from Abu Muhammad Haroun Bin Musa Al Tal’akbary who said, ‘We are informed by Abu Ali Muhammad Bin Hammam who said, We are informed by Ali Al Sowry who said, ‘We are informed by Abu Muhammad Al Alawy, from a son of Al Aftas, and he was from the righteous servants of Allah-azwj who said, ‘We are informed by Musa Al Hamdany, who said, ‘We are narrated by Muhammad Bin Khalid Al Tayalisi who said, ‘We are narrated by Sayd Bin Ameyra and Salih Bin Uqbah, altogether from Qays Bin Sim’an, from Al Qamah Bin Muhammad Al Hazramy, ‘From Abu Ja’far Muhammad-asws Bin Ali-asws having said: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww performed Hajj from Al-Medina, and he-saww had already delivered the entirety of the Laws to his-saww people after from the Hajj and the Wilayah. Jibraeel-as came to him-saww and said to him-saww: ‘O Muhammad-saww! Allah-azwj, Majestic is His-azwj Name Conveys the Greetings and Says to you-saww: “I-azwj did not Capture (the soul of) any Prophet-as from My-saww Prophets-as, nor any Rasool-as from My-azwj Messengers-as except after Perfecting My-azwj religion and Emphasising My-azwj Divine Authority. And there has remained upon you-saww two Obligations from that, from what is needed for you-saww to deliver to your-saww people – Obligation of the Hajj and Obligation of the Wilayah and the caliphate from after you-saww, for I-azwj do not leave My-azwj earth vacant from a Divine Authority and will not Vacate it, ever! ”
Allah-azwj, Majestic is His-azwj Praise Commands you-saww to deliver to your-saww people the Hajj. You-saww should perform Hajj and he should perform Hajj with you-saww, everyone who has capacity for a way to it, from the people present, and of the outskirts, and the Bedouins, and teach them of their Hajj like what you-saww had taught them of their Salat, and their Zakaat, and their Fasts, and their stance from that upon an example of the one-asws you-saww had paused them upon, from the entirety of what you-saww had delivered to them of the Laws’. A caller of Rasool-Allah-saww called out among the people: ‘Indeed! Rasool-Allah-saww intends the Hajj and to teach you all from that like that which he-saww has taught you of the Laws of your religion, and pause you from that upon the like of that which he-saww had paused you upon from other such (matters)! ’. Rasool-Allah-saww went out and the people went out with him-saww, and they paid attention to him-saww in order to look at what he-saww does, so they could do like him-saww. He-saww performed Hajj with them, and there reached from the pilgrims with Rasool-Allah-saww, from the people of Al-Medina, and people of the outskirts, and the Bedouins, seventy thousand people or more approximate of the number of companions of Musa, seventy thousand, those he-as taken the allegiance of Haroun-as upon them. They broke (the allegiance) and took the calf and Al-Samiri-la, and similar to that Rasool-Allah-saww took the allegiance for Ali-asws with the caliphate upon a number of the companions of Musa-as, and they (also) broke the allegiance, and they took the calf (Abu Bakr
