Al Mufeed, from Ibn Qawlawiyah, from Ibn Al Ayyashi, from his father, from Al Qasim Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Ali Bin Salih, from Sufyan Baya’a Al Hareer, from Abdul Momin Al Ansari, from his father, from Anas Bin Malik (a well-known fabricator), said, ‘I asked him (Anas), ‘Who was the most righteous in the view of Rasool-Allah-saww among what you saw? ’ He said, ‘I have not seen anyone being at the status of Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws. If he-saww had sent me to seek him-asws in the middle of the night, he-saww would isolate with him-asws until morning. This was for him-asws with him-saww until he-asws separated from the world’’. He said, ‘And I have heard Rasool-Allah-saww and he-saww was saying: ‘O Anas! Do you love Ali-asws? ’ I said, ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! By Allah-azwj, I do love him-saww due to your-saww love for him-asws’. He-saww said: ‘As for you, if you were to love him-asws, Allah-azwj would Love you, and if you were to hate him-asws, Allah-azwj would Hate you, and if Allah-azwj Hates you, He-azwj will Fling you into the Fire’’.
