كنز، كنز جامع الفوائد و تأويل الآيات الظاهرة رَوَى الشَّيْخُ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الطُّوسِيُّ فِي مِصْبَاحِ الْأَنْوَارِ بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: كُنْتُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص فِي حَفْرِ الْخَنْدَقِ وَ قَدْ حَفَرَ النَّاسُ وَ حَفَرَ عَلِيٌّ ع فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ص بِأَبِي مَنْ يَحْفِرُ وَ جَبْرَئِيلُ يَكْنُسُ التُّرَابَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَ يُعِينُهُ مِيكَائِيلُ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ يُعِينَ قَبْلَهُ أَحَداً مِنَ الْخَلْقِ
ثُمَّ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص لِعُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ احْفِرْ فَغَضِبَ عُثْمَانُ وَ قَالَ لَا يَرْضَى مُحَمَّدٌ أَنْ أَسْلَمْنَا عَلَى يَدِهِ حَتَّى أَمَرَنَا بِالْكَدِّ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَى نَبِيِّهِ يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا الْآيَةَ. باب 77 نزول الماء لغسله ع من السماء
(The books) ‘Kanz Jamir Al Fawaid’ and ‘Taweel Al Ayaat Al Zaahira’ – It is reported by the sheykh Abu Ja’far Al Tusi in (the book) ‘Misbah Al Anwar’, by his chain from Jabir Bin Abdullah who said, ‘I was in the presence of Rasool-Allah-saww in the ditch of (battle of) Al-Khandaq, and the people had dug and Ali-asws had dug. The Prophet-saww said to him-asws: ‘By my-saww father-as! Who has dug and Jibraeel-as was shaking the dust in front of him, and Mikaeel-as assisting him, and no one from the people had seen anyone before him? ’
Then the Prophet-saww said to Usman Bin Affan: ‘Dig! Usman was angered and said, ‘Muhammad-saww is not pleased that we have become Muslims upon his-saww hand until now he-saww is ordering us with the toiling’. Allah-azwj Revealed unto His-azwj Prophet-saww: They think they are conferring a favour upon you if they become Muslims. [49: 17]’’. [164]
